你撒種，卻不得收割；踹橄欖，卻不得油抹身；有新酒，卻不得酒喝。

你聘了妻子，別人必與她同寢；你建了房屋，卻不得住在其內；你栽植了葡萄園，卻不得享用所結的果子。

「我必因你在四境之內所犯的一切罪，將你的貨物財寶當掠物，白白地交出來。

你栽植修整葡萄園，卻沒有酒喝，也不得儲存，因為蟲子把它吃了。

我必將它交給外邦人為掠物，交給地上的惡人為擄物；他們要褻瀆它。

因為有哀聲從錫安傳來：『我們竟然敗落！我們何等慚愧！我們撇下土地，人拆毀了我們的房屋。』」

到那日，我必懲罰所有跳過門檻，以殘暴和詭詐塞滿主人房屋的人。

有獅子從密林中上來，是毀壞列國的。牠已動身出離本處，要使你的地荒涼，使你的城鎮變為廢墟，無人居住。

所以我把憤怒傾倒在他們身上，用烈怒之火消滅他們，照他們所做的報應在他們頭上。這是主耶和華說的。」

他們必吃盡你的莊稼和糧食，是你兒女該吃的；必吃盡你的牛羊，吃盡你的葡萄和無花果；又必用刀劍毀壞你所倚靠的堅固城。

因此，為你們的緣故，錫安要被耕種像一塊田地，耶路撒冷要變為廢墟，這殿的山必如叢林的高處。

看哪，耶和華使地空虛，變為荒蕪，地面扭曲，居民四散。那時，百姓如何，祭司也如何；僕人如何，主人也如何；婢女如何，主母也如何；買主如何，賣主也如何；放債的如何，借貸的也如何；債主如何，欠債的也如何。地必全然空虛，盡都荒蕪，因為這話是耶和華說的。

禍哉！你們以房接房，以地連地，以致不留餘地，只顧自己獨居境內。我耳聞萬軍之耶和華說：「許多房屋必然荒廢；宏偉華麗，無人居住。

他們建造房屋，居住其中，栽葡萄園，吃園中的果子；並非造了給別人居住，也非栽種給別人享用；因為我百姓的日子必長久如樹木，我的選民必享受親手勞碌得來的。

他們要把銀子拋棄在街上，看金子如污穢之物。正當耶和華發怒的日子，金銀不能拯救他們，不能滿足食慾，也不能使肚腹飽滿，反倒成了自己罪孽的絆腳石。

他們必吃你牲畜所生的和你土地所產的，直到你被除滅。你的五穀、新酒和新的油，以及牛犢、羔羊，他都不給你留下，直到使你滅亡。

我必使耶路撒冷成為廢墟，為野狗的住處，也必使猶大的城鎮荒廢，無人居住。

我就說：「主啊，這到幾時為止呢？」他說：「直到城鎮荒涼，無人居住，房屋空無一人，土地極其荒蕪；

許多牧人毀壞我的葡萄園，踐踏我的地產，使我美好的地產變為荒涼的曠野。他們使地荒涼；地既荒涼，就向我哀哭。全地荒涼，卻無人在意。滅命的來到曠野中一切光禿的高地；耶和華的刀從地這邊直到地那邊，盡行殺滅，凡血肉之軀都不得平安。他們種的是麥子，收的卻是荊棘；辛辛苦苦卻無收穫。因耶和華的烈怒，你們必為自己的收成感到羞愧。

毀壞的信息不斷傳來，因為全地荒廢。我的帳棚忽然毀壞，我的幔子頃刻破裂。
