他又呼叫我，告訴我說：「你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。」

他又呼叫我说：“看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。”

他又呼叫我，告诉我说：“你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。”

他又呼叫我，告诉我说：“你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。”

他又高声对我说：“看啊，那些到北方去的已在那里使我的心得到安慰。”

他又呼唤我，对我说：“你看，那些出来往北方之地去的，已经在北方之地使我心灵的忿怒平息下来。”

他又呼叫我說：「看哪，往北方去的已在北方安慰我的心。」

他又呼叫我，告訴我說：「你看，往北方地去的已在北方之地使我放心。」

使者呼而謂我曰、往北方者、已安我心於北方矣、○

天使招我曰、往北方者、已雪我忿、

彼召我曰、爾視往北方者、已雪我忿已雪我忿或作已安我心在北方、○

Then he called to me,“ Look, those going toward the north country have given my Spirit rest in the land of the north.”

Then the Lord called out to me,“ Look! The horses going toward the north have given my Spirit rest in the north country.”

Then he cried to me,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have set my Spirit at rest in the north country.”

Then the Lord summoned me and said,“ Look, those who went north have vented the anger of my Spirit there in the land of the north.”

Then he summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified my Spirit in the northern land.”

Then He called out to me and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who are going to the land of the north have appeased My wrath in the land of the north.”

And He called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ See, those who go toward the north country have given rest to My Spirit in the north country.”

Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then He summoned me saying,“ See, those going to the land of the north have pacified My Spirit in the northern land.”

Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

Then he cried out to me,“ Look! The ones going to the northland have brought me peace about the northland.”

Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying,“ Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.”

「我要這樣發盡我的怒氣；我向他們發的憤怒停止以後，自己就得到平息。當我向他們發盡我的憤怒時，他們就知道我－耶和華所說的是出於妒忌。

我非常惱怒那享安逸的列國，因我從前稍微惱怒，他們就越發加害。

世上所有的居民，住在地上的人哪，山上大旗豎起時，你們要看，號角吹響時，你們要聽。耶和華對我如此說：「我要安靜，從我的居所觀看，如同日光下閃爍的熱氣，又如收割時露水蒸發的雲霧。」

我止息了向你所發的憤怒，我的妒忌也離開了你；這樣，我就平靜，不再惱怒。

使你在我赦免你一切惡行時，心中追念，自覺慚愧，又因羞辱就不再開口。這是主耶和華說的。」

上帝已把米甸的兩個領袖俄立和西伊伯交在你們手中；我所做的怎能與你們所做的相比呢？」基甸說了這話，他們對他的怒氣就消了。

那時，天地和其中所有的，必因巴比倫歡呼，因為行毀滅的要從北方來到它那裏。這是耶和華說的。巴比倫要因以色列被殺的人而仆倒，正如全地被刺殺的人是因巴比倫仆倒一般。

因此，主－萬軍之耶和華、以色列的大能者說：「唉！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的敵人報仇。

「你們都當聚集而聽，偶像之中誰曾說明這些事？耶和華愛他，他必向巴比倫成就耶和華的旨意，耶和華的膀臂也要加在迦勒底人身上。

雖然我想潔淨你污穢的淫行，你卻不潔淨，你的污穢再也不能潔淨，直等我止息了向你發的憤怒。

有一位大力的天使舉起一塊石頭，好像大磨石，扔在海裏，說：「巴比倫大城也必這樣猛力地被扔下去，絕對見不到了。彈琴、歌唱、吹笛、吹號的聲音，在你中間絕對聽不見了；各行手藝的技工在你中間絕對見不到了；推磨的聲音在你中間絕對聽不見了；

參孫對他們說：「你們既然這麼做，我必向你們報仇才肯罷休。」

掌權者的怒氣若向你發作，不要離開你的本位，因為鎮定能平息大過。

你的主，耶和華，就是為他百姓辯護的上帝如此說：「看哪，我已從你手中接過那使人東倒西歪的杯，就是我憤怒的杯，你必不再喝。我必將這杯遞在苦待你的人手中。他們曾對你說：『你屈身，任我們踐踏過去吧！』你就以背為地，又如街道，任人走過。

耶和華必如勇士出征，如戰士激起憤恨，他要喊叫，大聲吶喊，擊敗他的敵人。我許久閉口不言，沉默不語；現在我要像臨產的婦人，大聲喊叫，呼吸急促而喘氣。我要使大小山岡變為荒蕪，使其上的花草都枯乾；我要使江河變為沙洲，使水池盡都乾涸。
