我夜間觀看，看見有一個人騎著紅馬，站在低窪地上的番石榴樹中間；在他後面還有些紅色、栗色和白色的馬。

我觀看，見有一匹白馬；騎在馬上的拿著弓，有冠冕賜給他，他就出去，得勝並且要再得勝。羊羔揭開了第二個印的時候，我聽見第二個活物說：“你來！”就另有一匹紅馬出來，騎在馬上的得了權柄，可以從地上奪去和平，使人互相殘殺，又有一把大刀賜給他。羊羔揭開了第三個印的時候，我聽見第三個活物說：“你來！”我觀看，見有一匹黑馬；騎在馬上的，手中拿著天平。我聽見在四個活物中間，仿佛有聲音說：“一公升小麥賣一個銀幣，三公升大麥賣一個銀幣，油和酒也不可糟蹋。”

套著黑馬的車出來，往北方之地去；套著白馬的車出來，跟在牠們後面（“跟在牠們後面”或譯：“往西方去”）；套著有斑點的馬的車出來，往南方之地去。

我在靈裡被天使帶到曠野去，看見一個婦人，騎著朱紅色的獸，這獸布滿了褻瀆的名號，有七頭十角。

天上又出現了另一個景象。看哪！有一條大紅龍，有七頭十角，七頭上戴著七個皇冠。
