He replied,“ To the country of Babylonia to build a house for it. When the house is ready, the basket will be set there in its place.”

他回答我：“要在示拿地为那量器建造房子；房子预备好了，就在那里把它安放在它自己的地方。”

他回答我：「她們要在示拿地為量器建造房屋；房屋預備好了，就把它安置在那裡，在它的基座上。」

曰、適示拿地、為婦建室、既備、則置之於其所、

曰、往示拿地建宅第於彼、置斗量於彼。

謂我曰、往示拿地、為伊法建室、迨室建畢、建畢原文作已備則置伊法於彼、在其處、處或作座

He replied,“ To the country of Babylon. A temple will be built for it. When the temple is ready, the basket will be set there in its place.”

He said to me,“ To the land of Shinar, to build a house for it. And when this is prepared, they will set the basket down there on its base.”

He replied,“ To the land of Babylonia, where they will build a temple for the basket. And when the temple is ready, they will set the basket there on its pedestal.”

“ To build a shrine for it in the land of Shinar,” he told me.“ When that is ready, the basket will be placed there on its pedestal.”

Then he said to me,“ To build a temple for her in the land of Shinar; and when it is prepared, she will be set there on her own pedestal.”

And he said to me,“ To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base.”

And he said unto me, To build her a house in the land of Shinar: and when it is prepared, she shall be set there in her own place.

“ To build a shrine for it in the land of Shinar,” he told me.“ When that is ready, the basket will be placed there on its pedestal.”

And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

He replied,“ To build a temple for her in the land of Babylonia. When it is finished, she will be placed there in her own residence.”

He said to me,“ To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be set there in her own place.”

As people moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there.

And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia and put in the treasure house of his god.

The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar.

In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean.

He has sent this message to us in Babylon: It will be a long time. Therefore build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.’”

At the time when Amraphel was king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Kedorlaomer king of Elam and Tidal king of Goyim,

the Lord will send fearful plagues on you and your descendants, harsh and prolonged disasters, and severe and lingering illnesses.

They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

For the Israelites will live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred stones, without ephod or household gods.
