彼曰、此乃耶和華諭所羅巴伯之言曰、非以權勢、非以能力、乃藉我神、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

耶和華論所羅把伯、云萬有之主耶和華曰、非以能力、乃以我神、

彼謂我曰、其意即主所諭所羅巴伯云、萬有之主曰、非以勢、非以能、乃以我之神也、非以勢非以能乃以我之神也或作非恃能非恃力乃恃我之神事始能成

So he said to me,“ This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

So he said to me,“ A message from the Lord came to Zerubbabel. The Lord said,‘ Your strength will not get my temple rebuilt. Your power will not do it either. Only the power of my Spirit will do it,’ says the Lord who rules over all.

Then he said to me,“ This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

Then he said to me,“ This is what the Lord says to Zerubbabel: It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

So he answered me,“ This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by strength or by might, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD of Armies.

Then he said to me,“ This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying,‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of armies.

So he answered and said to me:“ This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts.

So he answered me,“ This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by strength or by might, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of Hosts.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This[ is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Therefore he told me,“ These signify the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel:‘ Not by strength and not by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD who rules over all.”

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying,“ This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying,‘ Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

“ Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him.With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people gained confidence from what Hezekiah the king of Judah said. (niv)

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. (niv)

My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power. (niv)

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—and he will delight in the fear of the Lord. He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears with his ears;but with righteousness he will judge the needy, with justice he will give decisions for the poor of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; with the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked. (niv)

No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. (niv)

We wait in hope for the Lord; he is our help and our shield.In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. (niv)

Now this I know: The Lord gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand.Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. (niv)

Yet I will show love to Judah; and I will save them— not by bow, sword or battle, or by horses and horsemen, but I, the Lord their God, will save them.” (niv)

“ Speak to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, to Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people. Ask them,‘ Who of you is left who saw this house in its former glory? How does it look to you now? Does it not seem to you like nothing?But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the Lord.‘ Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the Lord,‘ and work. For I am with you,’ declares the Lord Almighty.‘ This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’ (niv)

Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said,“ Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.” (niv)

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob.Through you we push back our enemies; through your name we trample our foes.I put no trust in my bow, my sword does not bring me victory;but you give us victory over our enemies, you put our adversaries to shame. Then he said to me:“ Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say,‘ Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’Therefore prophesy and say to them:‘ This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel.Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them.I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’” (niv)

“ Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the Lord,“ to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin; (niv)

till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest. (niv)

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jozadak set to work to rebuild the house of God in Jerusalem. And the prophets of God were with them, supporting them. (niv)

Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and he himself fought against them.Then his people recalled the days of old, the days of Moses and his people— where is he who brought them through the sea, with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he who set his Holy Spirit among them,who sent his glorious arm of power to be at Moses’ right hand, who divided the waters before them, to gain for himself everlasting renown,who led them through the depths? Like a horse in open country, they did not stumble;like cattle that go down to the plain, they were given rest by the Spirit of the Lord. This is how you guided your people to make for yourself a glorious name. (niv)

“ May the Lord, the God who gives breath to all living things, appoint someone over this community (niv)

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things. (niv)

I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and make you like a warrior’s sword.Then the Lord will appear over them; his arrow will flash like lightning. The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will march in the storms of the south,and the Lord Almighty will shield them. They will destroy and overcome with slingstones. They will drink and roar as with wine; they will be full like a bowl used for sprinkling the corners of the altar. (niv)
