but he will say,‘ I am not a prophet; I am a cultivator of the ground, because a man sold me as a slave in my youth.’

乃曰、我非先知、乃農夫耳、自幼為奴、

乃告人曰、我非先知、我乃農夫、我自幼時、被鬻為奴。

Each will say,‘ I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.’

In fact, each one will say,‘ I’m not really a prophet. I’m a farmer. I’ve farmed the land since I was young.’

but he will say,‘ I am no prophet, I am a worker of the soil, for a man sold me in my youth.’

He will say,‘ I’m no prophet; I’m a farmer. I began working for a farmer as a boy.’

He will say,‘ I am not a prophet; I work the land, for a man purchased me as a servant since my youth.’

But he will say,‘ I am no prophet, I am a farmer; for a man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.’

but he shall say, I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondman from my youth.

This became known to all who lived in Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks; and fear fell upon them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified.Also many of those who had believed kept coming, confessing and disclosing their practices.And many of those who practiced magic brought their books together and began burning them in the sight of everyone; and they added up the prices of the books and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.So the word of the Lord was growing and prevailing mightily.
