『永恆主必像先前賜勝利給猶大的帳棚，使大衛家的光榮跟耶路撒冷居民的光榮不至於勝過猶大其餘城市的光榮。

耶和華必首先拯救猶大的帳篷，為要使大衛家的榮耀和耶路撒冷居民的榮耀不超過猶大。

“ The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.

“ I will save the houses in Judah first. The honor of David’s family line is great. So is the honor of those who live in Jerusalem. But their honor will not be greater than the honor of the rest of Judah.

“ And the Lord will give salvation to the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not surpass that of Judah.

“ The Lord will give victory to the rest of Judah first, before Jerusalem, so that the people of Jerusalem and the royal line of David will not have greater honor than the rest of Judah.

The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of David’s house and the glory of Jerusalem’s residents may not be greater than that of Judah.

The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem will not be greater than Judah.

“ The Lord will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.

Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified above Judah.

耶和華如此說：我必使雅各被擄去的帳棚歸回，也必顧惜他的住處。城必建造在原舊的山岡；宮殿也照舊有人居住。

到那日，眼目高傲的必降為卑；性情狂傲的都必屈膝；惟獨耶和華被尊崇。必有萬軍耶和華降罰的一個日子，要臨到驕傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降為卑；又臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹和巴珊的橡樹；又臨到一切高山的峻嶺；又臨到高臺和堅固城牆；又臨到他施的船隻並一切可愛的美物。驕傲的必屈膝；狂妄的必降卑。在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇；

到那日，我必建立大衛倒塌的帳幕，堵住其中的破口，把那破壞的建立起來，重新修造，像古時一樣，

我曾說：恐怕他們向我誇耀；我失腳的時候，他們向我誇大。

你們果然要向我誇大，以我的羞辱為證指責我，

既是這樣，哪裏能誇口呢？沒有可誇的了。用何法沒有的呢？是用立功之法嗎？不是，乃用信主之法。

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你將這些事向聰明通達人就藏起來，向嬰孩就顯出來。父啊，是的，因為你的美意本是如此。

當日就廢棄了。這樣，那些仰望我的困苦羊就知道所說的是耶和華的話。

願那喜歡我遭難的一同抱愧蒙羞！願那向我妄自尊大的披慚愧，蒙羞辱！

但他賜更多的恩典，所以經上說：神阻擋驕傲的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。

我們有這寶貝放在瓦器裏，要顯明這莫大的能力是出於神，不是出於我們。我們四面受敵，卻不被困住；心裏作難，卻不致失望；遭逼迫，卻不被丟棄；打倒了，卻不致死亡。身上常帶着耶穌的死，使耶穌的生也顯明在我們身上。因為我們這活着的人是常為耶穌被交於死地，使耶穌的生在我們這必死的身上顯明出來。這樣看來，死是在我們身上發動，生卻在你們身上發動。

法利賽人說：「你們也受了迷惑嗎？官長或是法利賽人豈有信他的呢？但這些不明白律法的百姓是被咒詛的！」

弟兄們哪，可見你們蒙召的，按着肉體有智慧的不多，有能力的不多，有尊貴的也不多。神卻揀選了世上愚拙的，叫有智慧的羞愧；又揀選了世上軟弱的，叫那強壯的羞愧。神也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那無有的，為要廢掉那有的，使一切有血氣的，在神面前一個也不能自誇。但你們得在基督耶穌裏是本乎神，神又使他成為我們的智慧、公義、聖潔、救贖。如經上所記：「誇口的，當指着主誇口。」

是萬軍之耶和華所定的！為要污辱一切高傲的榮耀，使地上一切的尊貴人被藐視。

原來不是仇敵辱罵我，若是仇敵，還可忍耐；也不是恨我的人向我狂大，若是恨我的人就必躲避他。

他用膀臂施展大能；那狂傲的人正心裏妄想就被他趕散了。他叫有權柄的失位，叫卑賤的升高；叫飢餓的得飽美食，叫富足的空手回去。

耶和華如此說：「智慧人不要因他的智慧誇口，勇士不要因他的勇力誇口，財主不要因他的財物誇口。誇口的卻因他有聰明，認識我是耶和華，又知道我喜悅在世上施行慈愛、公平，和公義，以此誇口。這是耶和華說的。」

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，叫他們在信上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？

他對我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。

正當那時，耶穌被聖靈感動就歡樂，說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你將這些事向聰明通達人就藏起來，向嬰孩就顯出來。父啊！是的，因為你的美意本是如此。
