耶和華又對我說：“你去取愚昧牧人的裝備來。

永恆主又吩咐我說：『你再取愚妄牧民者的器具。

耶和華又對我說：「你再拿愚蠢牧人的器具。

耶和華謂我曰、復取愚牧之器、

耶和華告我曰、爾當取愚牧之器、

主諭我曰、爾又取愚牧之器、

Then the Lord said to me,“ Take again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

The Lord said to me,“ Now pretend to be a foolish shepherd. Get the things you need.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Take once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Go again and play the part of a worthless shepherd.

The LORD also said to me,“ Take the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

And the Lord said to me,“ Take again for yourself the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

And the Lord said to me,“ Next, take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd.

And Jehovah said unto me, Take unto thee yet again the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

The Lord also said to me:“ Take the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish shepherd.

Again the LORD said to me,“ Take up once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Yahweh said to me,“ Take for yourself yet again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”Then I said,“ For how long, Lord?” And he answered:“ Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged,until the Lord has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken. You foolish people! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also? (niv)

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! (niv)

Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” (niv)

You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? (niv)

The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The prophecies they gave you were false and misleading. (niv)

“ As a thief is disgraced when he is caught, so the people of Israel are disgraced— they, their kings and their officials, their priests and their prophets.They say to wood,‘ You are my father,’ and to stone,‘ You gave me birth.’ They have turned their backs to me and not their faces; yet when they are in trouble, they say,‘ Come and save us!’ (niv)
