You have not taken care of them. So I will punish you for the evil that you have done. I, the LORD, affirm it!

A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory is from the LORD.

“‘ Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:As surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, my sheep have become prey and have become food for all the wild beasts. There was no shepherd, and my shepherds did not search for my flock, but fed themselves and did not feed my sheep,Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD:This is what the sovereign LORD says: Look, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand my sheep from their hand. Woe to the worthless shepherd who abandons the flock! May a sword fall on his arm and his right eye! May his arm wither completely away, and his right eye become completely blind!”

But when the sovereign master finishes judging Mount Zion and Jerusalem, then I will punish the king of Assyria for what he has proudly planned and for the arrogant attitude he displays.

“ On the day of the LORD’s sacrificial meal, I will punish the princes and the king’s sons, and all who wear foreign styles of clothing.

At that time the LORD will punish the heavenly forces in the heavens and the earthly kings on the earth.
