Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.

People of Judah, ask the Lord to send rain in the spring. He is the one who sends the thunderstorms. He sends down showers of rain on all people. He gives everyone the plants in the fields.

Ask rain from the Lord in the season of the spring rain, from the Lord who makes the storm clouds, and he will give them showers of rain, to everyone the vegetation in the field.

Ask the Lord for rain in the spring, for he makes the storm clouds. And he will send showers of rain so every field becomes a lush pasture.

Ask the LORD for rain in the season of spring rain. The LORD makes the rain clouds, and he will give them showers of rain and crops in the field for everyone.

Ask for rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain— The Lord who makes the storm winds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each person.

Ask ye of Jehovah rain in the time of the latter rain, even of Jehovah that maketh lightnings; and he will give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

Ask of Yahweh rain in the spring time, Yahweh who makes storm clouds, and he gives rain showers to everyone for the plants in the field.

Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.

For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

When He utters His voice, There is a multitude of waters in the heavens:“ And He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth. He makes lightning for the rain, He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.

Are there any among the idols of the nations that can cause rain? Or can the heavens give showers? Are You not He, O Lord our God? Therefore we will wait for You, Since You have made all these.

Then He will give the rain for your seed With which you sow the ground, And bread of the increase of the earth; It will be fat and plentiful. In that day your cattle will feed In large pastures.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

‘ Thus says the Lord GOD:“ I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will increase their men like a flock.

I will lay it waste; It shall not be pruned or dug, But there shall come up briers and thorns. I will also command the clouds That they rain no rain on it.”

For He draws up drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist,Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man.Indeed, can anyone understand the spreading of clouds, The thunder from His canopy?Look, He scatters his light upon it, And covers the depths of the sea.For by these He judges the peoples; He gives food in abundance.

And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab,“ As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”

He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works.

Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

Then Elijah said to Ahab,“ Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.”So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees,and said to his servant,“ Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said,“ There is nothing.” And seven times he said,“ Go again.”Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said,“ There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said,“ Go up, say to Ahab,‘ Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’”Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel.

And your heavens which are over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you shall be iron.

When He utters His voice— There is a multitude of waters in the heavens:“ He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.”

Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.

“ At this also my heart trembles, And leaps from its place.Hear attentively the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that comes from His mouth.He sends it forth under the whole heaven, His lightning to the ends of the earth.After it a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice, And He does not restrain them when His voice is heard.God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.For He says to the snow,‘ Fall on the earth’; Likewise to the gentle rain and the heavy rain of His strength.

Then the remnant of Jacob Shall be in the midst of many peoples, Like dew from the Lord, Like showers on the grass, That tarry for no man Nor wait for the sons of men.

They waited for me as for the rain, And they opened their mouth wide as for the spring rain.

You visit the earth and water it, You greatly enrich it; The river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, For so You have prepared it.

“ And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you.

In the light of the king’s face is life, And his favor is like a cloud of the latter rain.

“ I also withheld rain from you, When there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, And where it did not rain the part withered.

He shall come down like rain upon the grass before mowing, Like showers that water the earth.

‘ And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
