So tell the people: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Return to Me”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts—“ and I will return to you, says the Lord of Hosts.

當告斯民云、萬有之主耶和華曰、爾歸誠於我、我必復加眷顧、我萬有之主耶和華已言之矣、

當告之曰、萬有之主如是云、爾曹歸誠於我、我必復眷顧爾、復眷顧爾原文作歸於爾萬有之主已言之矣、或作爾當告之日萬有之主如是云爾曹歸誠於我此乃萬有之主所言萬有之主曰我必復眷顧爾曹

Therefore tell the people: This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty,‘ and I will return to you,’ says the Lord Almighty.

And now he says to us,“ Return to me. Then I will return to you,” announces the Lord.

Therefore say to them, Thus declares the Lord of hosts: Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.

Therefore, say to the people,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.’

So tell the people,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies says: Return to me— this is the declaration of the LORD of Armies— and I will return to you, says the LORD of Armies.

Therefore say to them,‘ This is what the Lord of armies says:“ Return to Me,” declares the Lord of armies,“ that I may return to you,” says the Lord of armies.

Therefore say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts,“ and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Return unto me, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will return unto you, saith Jehovah of hosts.

Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

Therefore say to the people: The LORD who rules over all says,“ Turn to me,” says the LORD who rules over all,“ and I will turn to you,” says the LORD who rules over all.

Therefore tell them: Yahweh of Armies says:‘ Return to me,’ says Yahweh of Armies,‘ and I will return to you,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

“ Since the days of your fathers, you have turned from My statutes; you have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of Hosts. But you ask:“ How can we return?”

Return to the One the Israelites have greatly rebelled against.

After I have uprooted them, I will once again have compassion on them and return each one to his inheritance and to his land.

Time and time again I have sent you all My servants the prophets, proclaiming: Turn, each one from his evil way of life, and correct your actions. Stop following other gods to serve them. Live in the land that I gave you and your ancestors. But you would not pay attention or obey Me.

When you are in distress and all these things have happened to you, you will return to the Lord your God in later days and obey Him.He will not leave you, destroy you, or forget the covenant with your fathers that He swore to them by oath, because the Lord your God is a compassionate God.

You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.I will be found by you”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and places where I banished you”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ I will restore you to the place I deported you from.”

If you return, Israel— this is the Lord’s declaration— you will return to Me, if you remove your detestable idols from My presence and do not waver,

Tell them: As I live”— the declaration of the Lord God—“ I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked person should turn from his way and live. Repent, repent of your evil ways! Why will you die, house of Israel?

He announced,‘ Turn, each of you, from your evil way of life and from your evil deeds. Live in the land the Lord gave to you and your ancestors long ago and forever.

Even now— this is the Lord’s declaration— turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.

I will heal their apostasy; I will freely love them, for My anger will have turned from him.

and you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey Him with all your heart and all your soul by doing everything I am giving you today,then He will restore your fortunes, have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you.Even if your exiles are at the ends of the earth, He will gather you and bring you back from there.The Lord your God will bring you into the land your fathers possessed, and you will take possession of it. He will cause you to prosper and multiply you more than He did your fathers.The Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and all your soul so that you will live.The Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you.Then you will again obey Him and follow all His commands I am giving you today.The Lord your God will make you prosper abundantly in all the work of your hands with children, the offspring of your livestock, and your land’s produce. Indeed, the Lord will again delight in your prosperity, as He delighted in that of your fathers,when you obey the Lord your God by keeping His commands and statutes that are written in this book of the law and return to Him with all your heart and all your soul.

Why should any living person complain, any man, because of the punishment for his sins?Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the Lord.Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven:

Return, you faithless children. I will heal your unfaithfulness.“ Here we are, coming to You, for You are the Lord our God.

Go, proclaim these words to the north, and say: Return, unfaithful Israel. This is the Lord’s declaration. I will not look on you with anger, for I am unfailing in My love. This is the Lord’s declaration. I will not be angry forever.Only acknowledge your guilt— you have rebelled against the Lord your God. You have scattered your favors to strangers under every green tree and have not obeyed My voice. This is the Lord’s declaration.“ Return, you faithless children”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ for I am your master, and I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

But as soon as they had relief, they again did what was evil in Your sight. So You abandoned them to the power of their enemies, who dominated them. When they cried out to You again, You heard from heaven and rescued them many times in Your compassion.

So the couriers went throughout Israel and Judah with letters from the hand of the king and his officials, and according to the king’s command, saying,“ Israelites, return to Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel so that He may return to those of you who remain, who have escaped from the grasp of the kings of Assyria.Don’t be like your fathers and your brothers who were unfaithful to Yahweh, the God of their ancestors so that He made them an object of horror as you yourselves see.Don’t become obstinate now like your fathers did. Give your allegiance to Yahweh, and come to His sanctuary that He has consecrated forever. Serve the Lord your God so that He may turn His burning anger away from you,for when you return to Yahweh, your brothers and your sons will receive mercy in the presence of their captors and will return to this land. For Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful; He will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.”

and when they come to their senses in the land where they were deported and repent and petition You in their captors’ land:“ We have sinned and done wrong; we have been wicked,”and when they return to You with their whole mind and heart in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and when they pray to You in the direction of their land that You gave their ancestors, the city You have chosen, and the temple I have built for Your name,

Israel, return to Yahweh your God, for you have stumbled in your sin.

but when they turned to the Lord God of Israel in their distress and sought Him, He was found by them.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near.Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

Come, let us return to the Lord. For He has torn us, and He will heal us; He has wounded us, and He will bind up our wounds.

He will again have compassion on us; He will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.You will show loyalty to Jacob and faithful love to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers from days long ago.

Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, double-minded people!Be miserable and mourn and weep. Your laughter must change to mourning and your joy to sorrow.Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.

I’ll get up, go to my father, and say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight.I’m no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired hands.’So he got up and went to his father. But while the son was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him.The son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I’m no longer worthy to be called your son.’“ But the father told his slaves,‘ Quick! Bring out the best robe and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.

I have heard Ephraim moaning,“ You disciplined me, and I have been disciplined like an untrained calf. Restore me, and I will return, for you, Lord, are my God.After I returned, I repented; After I was instructed, I struck my thigh in grief. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.”Isn’t Ephraim a precious son to Me, a delightful child? Whenever I speak against him, I certainly still think about him. Therefore, My inner being yearns for him; I will truly have compassion on him. This is the Lord’s declaration.
