to be self- controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

The younger women must control themselves and be pure. They must take good care of their homes. They must be kind. They must follow the lead of their husbands. Then no one will be able to speak evil things against God’s word.

to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

to live wisely and be pure, to work in their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.

Who can find a wife of noble character? Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

and has a reputation for good works: as one who has raised children, practiced hospitality, washed the feet of the saints, helped those in distress– as one who has exhibited all kinds of good works.

In the same way, wives, be subject to your own husbands. Then, even if some are disobedient to the word, they will be won over without a word by the way you live,when they see your pure and reverent conduct.Let your beauty not be external– the braiding of hair and wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes–but the inner person of the heart, the lasting beauty of a gentle and tranquil spirit, which is precious in God’s sight.For in the same way the holy women who hoped in God long ago adorned themselves by being subject to their husbands,

And besides that, going around from house to house they learn to be lazy, and they are not only lazy, but also gossips and busybodies, talking about things they should not.So I want younger women to marry, raise children, and manage a household, in order to give the adversary no opportunity to vilify us.

Nevertheless, each one of you must also love his own wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

But I want you to know that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.

Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord,because the husband is the head of the wife as also Christ is the head of the church– he himself being the savior of the body.But as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

A woman must learn quietly with all submissiveness.But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man. She must remain quiet.

How long, O God, will the adversary hurl insults? Will the enemy blaspheme your name forever?

the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak. Rather, let them be in submission, as in fact the law says.
