照樣，勸年老的婦女行為要敬虔，不說讒言，不被酒奴役，用善道教導人，

又劝老年妇人，举止行动要恭敬，不说谗言，不给酒作奴仆，用善道教训人，

又要劝年长的妇女在操守上恭正，不说谗言，不作酒的奴隶，用善道教导人，

又要劝年长的妇女在操守上恭正，不说谗言，不作酒的奴隶，用善道教导人，

劝年长的妇女要过敬虔的生活，不说长道短，不做酒的奴隶，要以身作则。

同样，年长的妇女在举止行为上要合乎圣洁、不恶意控告、不成为酒的奴隶，要教导美好的事；

又勸老年婦人，舉止行動要恭敬，不說讒言，不給酒作奴僕，用善道教訓人，

又要勸年長的婦女在操守上恭正，不說讒言，不作酒的奴隸，用善道教導人，

勸老年婦人也要這樣：在行動舉止上要有聖役上的恭敬，不說讒言，也不做酒奴，要用好榜樣教導人，

同樣，年長的婦女在舉止行為上要合乎聖潔、不惡意控告、不成為酒的奴隸，要教導美好的事；

使老婦之舉止端肅、毋讒毀、毋役於酒、以善訓人、

老婦所為、亦當敬虔、勿謠諑、勿嗜酒、宜以善教人、

老婦所為、亦當合乎聖虔、勿讒毀、勿嗜酒、以善教人、

年長婦女、舉止亦宜溫恭有禮、毋道人短、或沉湎於酒、務須循循善誘、

Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good.

In the same way, teach the older women to lead a holy life. They must not tell lies about others. They must not let wine control them. Instead, they must teach what is good.

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good,

that aged women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

In the same way, older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not addicted to much wine. They are to teach what is good,

The aged women likewise, that[ they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

Older women likewise are to exhibit behavior fitting for those who are holy, not slandering, not slaves to excessive drinking, but teaching what is good.

好提醒年輕的婦女愛丈夫愛兒女，

照樣，他們的妻子（“他們的妻子”可解作“女執事”）也要莊重，不說讒言，有節制，凡事忠心。

不要單注重外表的裝飾，就如鬈頭髮、戴金飾、穿華麗衣服；卻要在裡面存著溫柔安靜的心靈，作不能毀壞的裝飾，這在神面前是極寶貴的。因為古時仰望神的聖潔婦女，正是這樣裝飾自己，順服丈夫，

照樣，我也願意女人以端正、嫻淑、自律為裝飾；不要以鬈髮、金飾、珠寶，或名貴衣裳為裝飾，卻要以善行作裝飾，這才配稱為敬畏神的女人。

因為監督是神的管家，所以必須無可指摘、不任性、不隨便動怒、不好酒、不打人、不貪不義之財；

照樣，執事也必須莊重，不一口兩舌，不酗酒，不貪不義之財，

請你們在主裡用合乎聖徒身分的態度去接待她。無論她在甚麼事上有需要，請你們都幫助她；因為她曾經幫助許多人，也幫助了我。

那無依無靠獨居的寡婦，她們仰望神，晝夜不住地祈求禱告。寡婦若奢侈宴樂，雖然活著也是死的。這些事你要囑咐她們，使她們無可指摘。人若不看顧自己的人，尤其不看顧自己一家的人，就是背棄信仰，比不信的人還壞。寡婦登記，年紀必須到達六十歲，只作過一個丈夫的妻子，並且要有善行的見證：就如養育兒女，接待客旅，替聖徒洗腳，救濟困苦的人，盡力行各樣的善事等。

到這個時候，你們應該已經作老師了；可是你們還需要有人再把神道理的初步教導你們。你們成了只能吃奶而不能吃乾糧的人！

然而有一件事我要責備你，就是你容讓那自稱是先知的婦人耶洗別，教導和引誘我的眾僕人行淫亂，吃祭過偶像的食物。

至於淫亂和任何污穢或貪心的事，在你們中間連提都不可提，才合聖徒的體統。

因為你的胃不好，而且身體常常軟弱，不要單單喝水，可以稍微用點酒。
