此聖教乃建立於永生期望之上、而永生乃真實無妄之天主所許於萬古之前、

That belief and understanding lead to the hope of eternal life. Before time began, God promised to give that life. And he does not lie.

In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath,so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us.

God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.

so that everyone who believes will have eternal life in Him.“ For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

The one who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;

and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

so that, as sin reigned in death, so also grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of youwho through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.Since you have purified your souls in obedience to the truth for a sincere love of the brothers and sisters, fervently love one another from the heart,for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable, but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.
