Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me.

那人說：“天快亮了，讓我走吧。”雅各說：“如果你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。”

他在母腹中抓住他哥哥的腳跟，壯年的時候又與神角力。他與天使角力，並且得勝；他哀哭，向他求恩。他在伯特利遇見神，神在那裡對他說話。

不能生育、沒有生養過孩子的啊！你要歡呼。沒有生產過的啊！你要發聲歡呼，高聲呼喊。因為棄婦比有夫之婦有更多兒子。這是耶和華說的。要擴張你帳幕的地方，伸展你居所的幔子，不要限制；要拉長你的繩索，堅固你的橛子。因為你要向南向北擴展，你的後裔必佔有列國之地，又使荒廢了的城鎮有人居住。

“你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就尋見；叩門，就給你們開門。

你們要趁著耶和華可以尋找的時候，尋找他，趁著他靠近的時候，呼求他。惡人要離棄自己的道路，不義的人當除去自己的意念，回轉過來歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他。你們當回轉過來歸向我們的神，因為他大大赦免人的罪。

不知不覺之間，我的心把我置於我尊貴的民的車中。

你的頭在你身上像迦密山；你頭上的秀髮是紫黑色的；君王的心竟給這些髮綹繫住了。

忽然，耶穌向她們迎面而來，說：“你們好。”她們就上前，抱住他的腳拜他。

耶和華善待等候他的和心裡尋求他的人。

那在上面的耶路撒冷是自由的，她是我們的母親，

我沒有在隱密處、在黑暗之地說過話；我沒有對雅各的後裔說過：‘你們尋求我是徒然的。’我耶和華講說公義，宣揚正直。

耶穌對她說：“馬利亞！”她轉過身來，用希伯來話對他說：“拉波尼！”（就是“老師”的意思。）耶穌說：“你不要拉住我，因為我還沒有上去見父。你要到我的弟兄們那裡去，告訴他們我要上去見我的父，也是你們的父；見我的神，也是你們的神。”

你們要尋找我，只要一心尋求，就必尋見。

我必快來！你要持守你所有的，不要讓人拿走你的冠冕。得勝的，我要叫他在我神的聖所裡作柱子，他決不再出去，我也要把我神的名，和我神的城的名，就是那從天上、從我神那裡降下來的新耶路撒冷，以及我的新名，都寫在他身上。
