听啊！是我良人的声音，他攀过高岗，跃过山丘，终于来了！

听啊！这是我良人的声音，他蹿山越岭而来。

聽啊！是我良人的聲音；看哪！他躥山越嶺而來。

聽啊！我良人的聲音，看哪！他穿山越嶺而來。

聽啊！我良人的聲音，看哪！他穿山越嶺而來。

聽啊！是我良人的聲音，他攀過高崗，躍過山丘，終於來了！

聽啊！這是我良人的聲音，他躥山越嶺而來。

啊，我愛人的聲音哪！看哪，他來啦！躥山越嶺呢！

又曰聽之、乃我所愛者之聲、彼逾山越陵而來、

越日我聞夫子之聲、譬彼麀鹿逾越山岡、踊躍而至、立於墻後、倚窗而望、由櫺而窺、

聽哉、此乃我良人之聲、正逾山越嶺而來、

Listen! My beloved! Look! Here he comes, leaping across the mountains, bounding over the hills.

“ Listen! I hear my love! Look! Here he comes! He’s leaping across the mountains. He’s coming over the hills.

The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.

Ah, I hear my lover coming! He is leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.

Listen! My love is approaching. Look! Here he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.

“ Listen! My beloved! Behold, he is coming, Leaping on the mountains, Jumping on the hills!

The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh, Leaping upon the mountains, Skipping upon the hills.

Listen! My love is approaching. Look! Here he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills.

The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

Listen! My lover is approaching! Look! Here he comes, leaping over the mountains, bounding over the hills!

The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping on the mountains, skipping on the hills.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled.

( TO HER BELOVED): Until the day breaks And the shadows flee away, Turn, my beloved, And be like a gazelle Or a young stag Upon the mountains of Bether.

THE SHULAMITE: I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying,“ Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.”

“ For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress tree, And instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; And it shall be to the Lord for a name, For an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.”

said with a loud voice,“ Stand up straight on your feet!” And he leaped and walked.

Now as the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter, looked through a window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.

Sing, O heavens, for the Lord has done it! Shout, you lower parts of the earth; Break forth into singing, you mountains, O forest, and every tree in it! For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, And glorified Himself in Israel.

For was not Israel a derision to you? Was he found among thieves? For whenever you speak of him, You shake your head in scorn.

I will make each of My mountains a road, And My highways shall be elevated.Surely these shall come from afar; Look! Those from the north and the west, And these from the land of Sinim.”Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted.

as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying:“ The voice of one crying in the wilderness:‘ Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight and the rough ways smooth;And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’”

And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion,“ Your God reigns!”

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:“ Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth;

Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.

So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them— walking, leaping, and praising God.

Rejoice in that day and leap for joy! For indeed your reward is great in heaven, For in like manner their fathers did to the prophets.
