又曰聽之、乃我所愛者之聲、彼逾山越陵而來、

越日我聞夫子之聲、譬彼麀鹿逾越山岡、踊躍而至、立於墻後、倚窗而望、由櫺而窺、

聽哉、此乃我良人之聲、正逾山越嶺而來、

My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.

He who has the bride is the groom; but the friend of the groom, who stands and listens to him, rejoices greatly because of the groom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made full.

And rejoice, you earth! Break forth into joyful shouting, mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people And will have compassion on His afflicted.

as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet:“ The voice of one calling out in the wilderness,‘ Prepare the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight!Every ravine will be filled, And every mountain and hill will be lowered; The crooked will become straight, And the rough roads smooth;And all flesh will see the salvation of God!’ ”

When he puts all his own sheep outside, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.However, a stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”

How delightful on the mountains Are the feet of one who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion,“ Your God reigns!”

The voice of one calling out,“ Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the uneven ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley;

Then those who limp will leap like a deer, And the tongue of those who cannot speak will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert.

And leaping up, he stood and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

Rejoice on that day and jump for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For their fathers used to treat the prophets the same way.
