My beloved is mine and I am his; he browses among the lilies.

“ My love belongs to me, and I belong to him. Like an antelope, he eats among the lilies.

THE SHULAMITE: My beloved is mine, and I am his. He feeds his flock among the lilies.

“ I am my beloved’s, And his desire is for me.

“ I am the rose of Sharon, The lily of the valleys.”

God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water.

The mandrakes have given forth fragrance; And over our doors are all delicious fruits, New as well as old, Which I have saved for you, my beloved.

For such is God, Our God forever and ever; He will lead us until death.

So then, no one is to be boasting in people. For all things belong to you,whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas, or the world or life or death, or things present or things to come; all things belong to you,and you belong to Christ, and Christ belongs to God.

Your two breasts are like two fawns, Twins of a gazelle That graze among the lilies.

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, Where do you pasture your flock, Where do you have it lie down at noon? For why should I be like one who veils herself Beside the flocks of your companions?”
