我心所愛者、爾牧羊於何所、亭午息之於何方、請以告我、我於爾同儔羣羊之側、何為如蒙面者乎、

維我良人、予所敬愛、予不欲與爾同儔為伍、以遨以遊、惟欲詣爾牧地、爾牧羊何所、至於日中、羊伏蔭下、又在何方、請以告我。

我心所愛者、請爾告我、爾於何所牧羊、亭午在何方使羊憩息、免我在爾同伴之群中、往來游行、

Tell me, you whom I love, where you graze your flock and where you rest your sheep at midday. Why should I be like a veiled woman beside the flocks of your friends?

“ King Solomon, I love you. So tell me where you take care of your flock. Tell me where you rest your sheep at noon. Why should I have to act like a prostitute near the flocks of your friends?”

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you pasture your flock, where you make it lie down at noon; for why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?

Tell me, my love, where are you leading your flock today? Where will you rest your sheep at noon? For why should I wander like a prostitute among your friends and their flocks?

Tell me, you whom I love: Where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you let them rest at noon? Why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?

( TO HER BELOVED): Tell me, O you whom I love, Where you feed your flock, Where you make it rest at noon. For why should I be as one who veils herself By the flocks of your companions?

Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, Where thou feedest thy flock, Where thou makest it to rest at noon: For why should I be as one that is veiled Beside the flocks of thy companions?

Tell me, you, the one I love: Where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you let them rest at noon? Why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions?

Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest[ thy flock] to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?

Tell me, O you whom my heart loves, where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you rest your sheep during the midday heat? Tell me lest I wander around beside the flocks of your companions!

Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you graze your flock, where you rest them at noon; for why should I be as one who is veiled beside the flocks of your companions?

“ On my bed night after night I sought him Whom my soul loves; I sought him but did not find him.‘ I must arise now and go around in the city; In the streets and in the public squares I must seek him whom my soul loves.’ I sought him but did not find him.The watchmen who make the rounds in the city found me, And I said,‘ Have you seen him whom my soul loves?’Hardly had I left them When I found him whom my soul loves; I held on to him and would not let him go Until I had brought him to my mother’s house, And into the room of her who conceived me.”

The Lord is my shepherd, I will not be in need.He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.

To You, Lord, I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, For if You are silent to me, I will become like those who go down to the pit.

It will never be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation; Nor will the Arab pitch his tent there, Nor will shepherds allow their flocks to lie down there.

Let me sing now for my beloved A song of my beloved about His vineyard. My beloved had a vineyard on a fertile hill.

And He will arise and shepherd His flock In the strength of the Lord, In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God. And they will remain, Because at that time He will be great To the ends of the earth.

and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,

At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently; For when the earth experiences Your judgments, The inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for unbelievers,“ A stone which the builders rejected, This became the chief cornerstone,”

“ My beloved is mine, and I am his; He pastures his flock among the lilies.

and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

So Jesus said to the twelve,“ You do not want to leave also, do you?”Simon Peter answered Him,“ Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life.And we have already believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God.”

“ I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.

“ My beloved is dazzling and reddish, Outstanding among ten thousand.

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock, In His arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in the fold of His robe; He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

I love the Lord, because He hears My voice and my pleas.

Samuel said to the people,“ Do not fear. You have committed all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.Indeed, you must not turn aside, for then you would go after useless things which cannot benefit or save, because they are useless.

He said,“ I am looking for my brothers; please tell me where they are pasturing the flock.”

I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine, He who pastures his flock among the lilies.”

His mouth is full of sweetness. And he is wholly desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, You daughters of Jerusalem.”

“ This is what the Lord of armies says:‘ There will again be in this place which is waste, without man or animal, and in all its cities, a pasture for shepherds who rest their flocks.

In addition to all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.

“ You who sit in the gardens: My companions are listening for your voice— Let me hear it!”

“ The one who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and the one who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.

Listen, Shepherd of Israel, Who leads Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!

He* said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus* said to him,“ Tend My sheep.

They went out from us, but they were not really of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but they went out, so that it would be evident that they all are not of us.

“ I love You, Lord, my strength.”

for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

“ Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, So is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.

Swear to me, you daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my beloved, As to what you will tell him: For I am lovesick.”
