我受日暴、色雖微黑、毋藐視我、昔同母之兄弟怒我、使我守葡萄園、我之葡萄園、反不得守、

Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun. My mother’s sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; my own vineyard I had to neglect.

Don’t stare at me because I’m dark. The sun has made my skin look like this. My brothers were angry with me. They made me take care of the vineyards. I haven’t even taken care of my own vineyard.

即我同氣、即我手足、亦視余若疏遠兮、

巴力哈門有葡萄園、屬於所羅門、租於農夫、農夫因取其果、各納稅千金。我亦有葡萄園、必歸所羅門、價值千金、栽植其園者、畀以傭值二百金。

故日出暴之、無根而槁、

而爾以吾名、見憾於眾、惟至終恆忍者、得救也、

子欺父、女爭母、媳逆姑、則門內之人、等諸仇敵矣、

爾以為我至、措和平於世、我謂不然、轉分爭耳、今而後、一家五人將分爭、三爭二、二爭三、父爭子、子爭父、母爭女、女爭母、姑爭婦、婦爭姑焉、○

先知曰、我民被害、我亦受傷哀慘駭愕之至。

徒如師、僕如主、足矣、設有呼家主為別西卜、則呼其家人可知矣、

蓋我來、則子疏其父、女疏其母、婦疏其姑、而仇敵即在家人矣、

今其容變黑、形消骨立、有若枯木、至彼市廛、無人識之兮。

昔循人道而生者、窘逐依神道而生者、今亦如是、

我膚已黑、我骨已焦。

堅門徒心、勸之恆信、又言我儕欲入上帝國、必歷多難、

宗族兄弟、疇昔欺爾、群驅逐爾、今雖善言相待、亦勿信之。

二人往伯利恆、既至、闔城聳動、曰、此非拿阿米乎。曰、毋稱我拿阿米、乃稱我馬喇、蓋至能者困苦我也。我富足而出、耶和華使我匱乏而歸、至能之耶和華既責我害我、曷稱我拿阿米哉。
