“ Who are you?” he asked.“ I’m Ruth,” she said.“ You are my family protector. So take good care of me by making me your wife.”

他就说：“你是谁？”路得说：“我是你的使女路得。请你用你衣服的边来遮盖你的使女，因为你是可以赎我产业的至亲。”

便问道：“你是谁？”她答道：“我是你的婢女路得，请用你的衣襟遮盖我，因为你是我的近亲。”

就说：“你是谁？”她回答：“我是你的婢女路得，请用你的衣襟遮盖你的婢女，因为你是我一个有买赎权的近亲。”

他就问：“你是谁？”路得回答：“我是你的女仆路得。请铺开你的衣襟遮盖你的女仆，因为你是我的一位有赎回权的近亲。”

他就說：「你是誰？」回答說：「我是你的婢女路得。求你用你的衣襟遮蓋我，因為你是我一個至近的親屬。」

他就說：「你是誰？」路得說：「我是你的使女路得。請你用你衣服的邊來遮蓋你的使女，因為你是可以贖我產業的至親。」

他就說：「你是誰？」路得說：「我是你的使女路得。請你用你衣服的邊來遮蓋你的使女，因為你是可以贖我產業的至親。」

便問道：「你是誰？」她答道：「我是你的婢女路得，請用你的衣襟遮蓋我，因為你是我的近親。」

就說：“你是誰？”她回答：“我是你的婢女路得，請用你的衣襟遮蓋你的婢女，因為你是我一個有買贖權的近親。”

他就說：『你是誰？』回答說：『我是你的使女路得；請鋪開你的衣邊到你使女身上，因為你是我的一個贖業至親。』

他就問：「你是誰？」路得回答：「我是你的女僕路得。請鋪開你的衣襟遮蓋你的女僕，因為你是我的一位有贖回權的近親。」

曰、爾為誰、曰、爾婢路得、請以裾覆我、蓋爾乃宜贖我產者、

曰、爾為誰。曰、爾婢路得、請以裾覆我、蓋爾戚屬、得贖我產。

曰、爾為誰、曰、我乃爾婢路得、求以衣裾覆爾婢、蓋爾親屬可贖我業者、

“ Who are you?” he asked.“ I am your servant Ruth,” she said.“ Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian- redeemer of our family.”

He said,“ Who are you?” And she answered,“ I am Ruth, your servant. Spread your wings over your servant, for you are a redeemer.”

“ Who are you?” he asked.“ I am your servant Ruth,” she replied.“ Spread the corner of your covering over me, for you are my family redeemer.”

So he asked,“ Who are you?”“ I am Ruth, your servant,” she replied.“ Take me under your wing, for you are a family redeemer.”

So he said,“ Who are you?” And she answered,“ I am Ruth your slave. Now spread your garment over your slave, for you are a redeemer.”

And he said,“ Who are you?” So she answered,“ I am Ruth, your maidservant. Take your maidservant under your wing, for you are a close relative.”

And he said, Who art thou? And she answered, I am Ruth thy handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thy handmaid; for thou art a near kinsman.

So he asked,“ Who are you?”“ I am Ruth, your slave,” she replied.“ Spread your cloak over me, for you are a family redeemer.”

And he said, Who[ art] thou? And she answered, I[ am] Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou[ art] a near kinsman.

He said,“ Who are you?” She replied,“ I am Ruth, your servant. Marry your servant, for you are a guardian of the family interests.”

He said,“ Who are you?” She answered,“ I am Ruth your servant. Therefore spread the corner of your garment over your servant; for you are a near kinsman.”

“‘ “Later, I was passing by again. I looked at you. I saw that you were old enough for love. So I married you and took good care of you. I covered your naked body. I made a firm promise to you. I entered into a covenant with you. And you became mine,” announces the Lord and King.

“ May the Lord bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter- in- law.“ The Lord is still being kind to those who are living and those who are dead.” She continued,“ That man is a close relative of ours. He’s one of our family protectors.”

It’s true that I’m a relative of yours. But there’s a family protector who is more closely related to you than I am.

All those who lift themselves up will be made humble. And those who make themselves humble will be lifted up.”

Abigail bowed down with her face toward the ground. She said,“ I am your servant. I’m ready to serve him. I’m ready to wash the feet of his servants.”

When Ruth heard that, she bowed down with her face to the ground. She asked him,“ Why are you being so kind to me? In fact, why are you even noticing me? I’m from another country.”Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about you. I’ve heard about everything you have done for your mother- in- law since your husband died. I know that you left your father and mother. I know that you left your country. You came to live with people you didn’t know before.May the Lord reward you for what you have done. May the Lord, the God of Israel, bless you richly. You have come to him to find safety under his care.”“ Sir, I hope you will continue to be kind to me,” Ruth said.“ You have made me feel safe. You have spoken kindly to me. And I’m not even as important as one of your servants!”
