你今夜在这里住宿，明早他若肯为你尽至亲的本分，很好，就由他吧！倘若他不肯，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，我必为你尽上至亲的本分。你只管躺到早晨。”

你今晚就留在这里，明天早上，如果他答应尽亲属的义务，就由他照顾你；如果他不肯，我凭永活的耶和华起誓，我会尽我的本分。现在你只管安心睡觉吧。”

今晚你就在这里过夜，明早如果他肯尽买赎你的本分，好，就由他来履行；假如他不愿意这样作，我指着永活的耶和华起誓，我一定尽买赎你的本分。你只管躺到天亮吧。”

今夜你就在这里过夜吧！到了清晨，如果他要赎取你，那好，就让他赎取你；但如果他不愿意赎取你，我指着耶和华的永生起誓：我必赎取你。你就安心躺到清晨吧！”

今夜你就在這裡過夜吧！到了清晨，如果他要贖取你，那好，就讓他贖取你；但如果他不願意贖取你，我指著耶和華的永生起誓：我必贖取你。你就安心躺到清晨吧！」

今夜且宿於此、迨至詰朝、如彼欲贖爾產、則善、如其不贖、我指耶和華之生而誓、我必為爾贖之、臥此以待旦可也、

今夜暫宿此、迨至明日、如彼欲為爾贖、則善、聽其贖、如不欲為爾贖、我指主而誓、我必為爾贖、爾可宿此以待旦、

Stay here for the night, and in the morning if he wants to do his duty as your guardian- redeemer, good; let him redeem you. But if he is not willing, as surely as the Lord lives I will do it. Lie here until morning.”

So stay here for the night. In the morning if he wants to help you, good. Let him help you. But if he doesn’t want to, then I’ll do it. You can be sure that the Lord lives. And you can be just as sure that I’ll help you. Lie down here until morning.”

Remain tonight, and in the morning, if he will redeem you, good; let him do it. But if he is not willing to redeem you, then, as the Lord lives, I will redeem you. Lie down until the morning.”

Stay here tonight, and in the morning I will talk to him. If he is willing to redeem you, very well. Let him marry you. But if he is not willing, then as surely as the Lord lives, I will redeem you myself! Now lie down here until morning.”

Remain this night, and when morning comes, if he will redeem you, good; let him redeem you. But if he does not wish to redeem you, then I will redeem you, as the Lord lives. Lie down until morning.”

Stay this night, and in the morning it shall be that if he will perform the duty of a close relative for you— good; let him do it. But if he does not want to perform the duty for you, then I will perform the duty for you, as the Lord lives! Lie down until morning.”

Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, that if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, as Jehovah liveth: lie down until the morning.

Stay here tonight, and in the morning, if he wants to redeem you, that’s good. Let him redeem you. But if he doesn’t want to redeem you, as the Lord lives, I will. Now lie down until morning.”

Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning,[ that] if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee,[ as] the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.

Remain here tonight. Then in the morning, if he agrees to marry you, fine, let him do so. But if he does not want to do so, I promise, as surely as the LORD lives, to marry you. Sleep here until morning.”

Stay this night, and in the morning, if he will perform for you the part of a kinsman, good. Let him do the kinsman’s duty. But if he will not do the duty of a kinsman for you, then I will do the duty of a kinsman for you, as Yahweh lives. Lie down until the morning.”

波阿斯說：『那麼、你從拿俄米手中買這田地的那一天，也該買娶死者的妻摩押女子路得，好讓死者的名得以在他的產業上立起來。』

又指着永活的永恆主來起誓，憑忠誠公平公義來起誓，那麼列國就必靠着永恆主而給自己祝福，也必因着他而誇耀了。』

拿俄米對她的兒媳婦說：『願那人蒙永恆主賜福，就是那位未曾放棄以堅愛待活人死人的永恆主。』拿俄米又說：『那人是我們的近親，他是我們的一個贖業至親。』

基甸說：『他們是我的弟兄，跟我同母生的；我指着永活的永恆主來起誓：假使你們從前讓他們活着，我現在就不殺死你們了。』

人都是指着比自己大的來起誓；起誓對於他們就了結了一切的爭辯，可做確定的保證。

說：『先生，摩西說過：「人若死了，沒有孩子，他弟弟該續娶他的妻子，為他哥哥樹立後裔」。在我們這裏曾有弟兄七人；第一個娶了妻，死了，沒有後裔，遺留他的妻子給他弟弟；第二第三、直到第七個、都是這樣。儘末後、那婦人也死了。

『弟兄們住在一起，他們中間若死了一個，沒有兒子，死者的妻不可出嫁外人；她丈夫的兄弟要向她盡做丈夫的兄弟的本分、娶她為妻，進去找她。她所生的長子要立起來、接替那死去的兄弟的名分，免得他兄弟的名從以色列中被塗抹。那人若不願意娶她兄弟的妻，他兄弟的妻就要上城門長老們那裏說：「我丈夫的兄弟不肯在以色列中為他兄弟立名，不情願向我盡做丈夫的兄弟的本分。」那麼他本城的長老就要把那人叫來，對他講話；他若立定主意說：「我不樂意娶她」；那麼他兄弟的妻就要當着長老們眼前湊上前到那人跟前，從他腳上脫去了鞋，吐唾沫在他臉上，應時說：「那不為他兄弟建立家室的、人都要這樣待他。」

我指着我的性命呼求上帝作證，我沒有再往哥林多去、是顧惜你們。
