粮食不是在我们眼前断绝了吗？欢喜快乐不是从我们神的殿中止息了吗？谷种在土块下朽烂；仓也荒凉，廪也破坏；因为五谷枯干了。牲畜哀鸣；牛群混乱，因为无草；羊群也受了困苦。耶和华啊，我向你求告，因为火烧灭旷野的草场；火焰烧尽田野的树木。田野的走兽向你发喘；因为溪水干涸，火也烧灭旷野的草场。

田荒凉，地悲哀；因为五谷毁坏，新酒干竭，油也缺乏。农夫啊，你们要惭愧；修理葡萄园的啊，你们要哀号；因为大麦小麦与田间的庄稼都灭绝了。

你带到田间的种子虽多，收进来的却少，因为被蝗虫吃了。

“我使你们在一切城中牙齿干净，在你们各处粮食缺乏，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。

耶弗他以后，有伯利恒人以比赞作以色列的士师。

基列寄居的提斯比人以利亚对亚哈说：“我指着所侍奉永生耶和华以色列的神起誓，这几年我若不祷告，必不降露，不下雨。”耶和华的话临到以利亚说：“你离开这里往东去，藏在约旦河东边的基立溪旁。你要喝那溪里的水，我已吩咐乌鸦在那里供养你。”于是以利亚照着耶和华的话，去住在约旦河东的基立溪旁。乌鸦早晚给他叼饼和肉来，他也喝那溪里的水。过了些日子，溪水就干了，因为雨没有下在地上。耶和华的话临到他说：“你起身往西顿的撒勒法去，住在那里；我已吩咐那里的一个寡妇供养你。”以利亚就起身往撒勒法去。到了城门，见有一个寡妇在那里捡柴，以利亚呼叫她说：“求你用器皿取点水来给我喝。”她去取水的时候，以利亚又呼叫她说：“也求你拿点饼来给我！”她说：“我指着永生耶和华你的神起誓，我没有饼，坛内只有一把面，瓶里只有一点油；我现在找两根柴，回家要为我和我儿子做饼；我们吃了，死就死吧！”

主耶和华如此说：“我将这四样大灾，就是刀剑、饥荒、恶兽、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，将人与牲畜从其中剪除，岂不更重吗？

使肥地变为碱地；这都因其间居民的罪恶。

我必断绝你们因势力而有的骄傲，又要使覆你们的天如铁，载你们的地如铜。
