Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded,“ We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.” (niv)

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry,“ Abba, Father.” (niv)

This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you, the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be circumcised. (niv)

But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises.For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.But God found fault with the people and said:“ The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord.This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (niv)

“ Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a winepress in it and built a watchtower. Then he rented the vineyard to some farmers and moved to another place. (niv)

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram and said,“ To your descendants I give this land, from the Wadi of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates— (niv)

Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place, (niv)

He sent the ark of his might into captivity, his splendor into the hands of the enemy. (niv)

When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him. (niv)

He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David( as he said through his holy prophets of long ago),salvation from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us—to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant,the oath he swore to our father Abraham:to rescue us from the hand of our enemies, and to enable us to serve him without fearin holiness and righteousness before him all our days. Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. (niv)

I will not violate my covenant or alter what my lips have uttered. (niv)

“ But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend, (niv)

May your deeds be shown to your servants, your splendor to their children. (niv)

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (niv)

The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. (niv)

I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. (niv)

When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him,“ Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” (niv)

“ This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord.“ I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (niv)

They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings— external regulations applying until the time of the new order. (niv)

He dug it up and cleared it of stones and planted it with the choicest vines. He built a watchtower in it and cut out a winepress as well. Then he looked for a crop of good grapes, but it yielded only bad fruit. (niv)

I am making this covenant, with its oath, not only with you (niv)

She named the boy Ichabod, saying,“ The Glory has departed from Israel”— because of the capture of the ark of God and the deaths of her father-in-law and her husband.She said,“ The Glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured.” (niv)

They will come with weeping; they will pray as I bring them back. I will lead them beside streams of water on a level path where they will not stumble, because I am Israel’s father, and Ephraim is my firstborn son. (niv)

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time,then my covenant with David my servant— and my covenant with the Levites who are priests ministering before me— can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.I will make the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister before me as countless as the stars in the sky and as measureless as the sand on the seashore.’”The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:“ Have you not noticed that these people are saying,‘ The Lord has rejected the two kingdoms he chose’? So they despise my people and no longer regard them as a nation.This is what the Lord says:‘ If I have not made my covenant with day and night and established the laws of heaven and earth, (niv)

When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself,saying,“ I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.”And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised.People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument.Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. (niv)

These are the terms of the covenant the Lord commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in Moab, in addition to the covenant he had made with them at Horeb. (niv)
