For he is our peace, the one who made both groups into one and who destroyed the middle wall of partition, the hostility,when he nullified in his flesh the law of commandments in decrees. He did this to create in himself one new man out of two, thus making peace,and to reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by which the hostility has been killed.And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near,

I am the one who gives them reason to celebrate. Complete prosperity is available both to those who are far away and those who are nearby,” says the LORD,“ and I will heal them.But the wicked are like a surging sea that is unable to be quiet; its waves toss up mud and sand.There will be no prosperity,” says my God,“ for the wicked.”

Much more then, because we have now been declared righteous by his blood, we will be saved through him from God’s wrath.For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, since we have been reconciled, will we be saved by his life?

Indeed you will go out with joy; you will be led along in peace; the mountains and hills will give a joyful shout before you, and all the trees in the field will clap their hands.

For with the heart one believes and thus has righteousness and with the mouth one confesses and thus has salvation.

And the scripture was fulfilled that says,“ Now Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.And similarly, was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she welcomed the messengers and sent them out by another way?For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

This was also to demonstrate his righteousness in the present time, so that he would be just and the justifier of the one who lives because of Jesus’ faithfulness.Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded! By what principle? Of works? No, but by the principle of faith!For we consider that a person is declared righteous by faith apart from the works of the law.

Now may the God of peace who by the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ,

“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”

“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.

But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,

Since God is one, he will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

yet we know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by the faithfulness of Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.The one who believes in him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

Look, the one whose desires are not upright will faint from exhaustion, but the person of integrity will live because of his faithfulness.

And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,“ How timely is the arrival of those who proclaim the good news.”

Now it is clear no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous one will live by faith.But the law is not based on faith, but the one who does the works of the law will live by them.Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us( because it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”)in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we could receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.

What shall we say then?– that the Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness obtained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith,

You who are trying to be declared righteous by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!For through the Spirit, by faith, we wait expectantly for the hope of righteousness.For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight– the only thing that matters is faith working through love.
