How joyful are those whose lawless acts are forgiven and whose sins are covered!

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit.

If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared.

Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”Then He said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves,“ Who is this who even forgives sins?”Then He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

“ Comfort, yes, comfort My people!” Says your God.“ Speak comfort to Jerusalem, and cry out to her, That her warfare is ended, That her iniquity is pardoned; For she has received from the LORD’s hand Double for all her sins.”

Who is a God like You, Pardoning iniquity And passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy.He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.You will give truth to Jacob And mercy to Abraham, Which You have sworn to our fathers From days of old.

Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic,“ Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”

Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice.Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.

I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’
