「過犯得到赦免、罪惡被遮蓋的人有福了。

他說：『其不法行為蒙赦免、其罪得掩沒的、有福啊！

「罪惡被赦免、罪孽被遮蓋的人，這人是蒙福的。

曰、其過得宥、其罪得掩者、福矣、

詩云、人得赦其過、蓋其愆者有福、

大衛曰、其過得赦、其罪得掩者福矣、

『罪而獲赦、過而見宥、福哉斯人、主恩實厚！

“ Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

“ Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight.

Blessed are those whose lawless acts are forgiven and whose sins are covered.

“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven, And whose sins have been covered.

“ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;

saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, And whose sins are covered.

How joyful are those whose lawless acts are forgiven and whose sins are covered!

[ Saying], Blessed[ are] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

“ Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

How blessed is the one whose rebellious acts are forgiven, whose sin is pardoned!How blessed is the one whose wrongdoing the LORD does not punish, in whose spirit there is no deceit.

If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?But you are willing to forgive, so that you might be honored.

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little loves little.”Then Jesus said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”But those who were at the table with him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this, who even forgives sins?”He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

“ Comfort, comfort my people,” says your God.“ Speak kindly to Jerusalem, and tell her that her time of warfare is over, that her punishment is completed. For the LORD has made her pay double for all her sins.”

There is no other God like you! You forgive sin and pardon the rebellion of those who remain among your people. You do not remain angry forever, but delight in showing loyal love.You will once again have mercy on us; you will conquer our evil deeds; you will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea.You will be loyal to Jacob and extend your loyal love to Abraham, which you promised on oath to our ancestors in ancient times.

Just then some people brought to him a paralytic lying on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,“ Have courage, son! Your sins are forgiven.”

Grant me the ultimate joy of being forgiven! May the bones you crushed rejoice!Hide your face from my sins! Wipe away all my guilt!

I will purify them from all the sin that they committed against me. I will forgive all their sins which they committed in rebelling against me.All the nations will hear about all the good things which I will do to them. This city will bring me fame, honor, and praise before them for the joy that I bring it. The nations will tremble in awe at all the peace and prosperity that I will provide for it.’

You pardoned the wrongdoing of your people; you forgave all their sin.( Selah)
