These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold— though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life, doing good works with the humility that comes from wisdom.

There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil— for the Jew first and also for the Gentile.

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.

Such people will not be overcome by evil. Those who are righteous will be long remembered.They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.They are confident and fearless and can face their foes triumphantly.They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

Then he said to them,“ Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me also welcomes my Father who sent me. Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”

bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.

If it turns out to be a worthy home, let your blessing stand; if it is not, take back the blessing.

When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t he have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into?

The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.

For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.

Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.

Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.

You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!

“ I am leaving you with a gift— peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never ending glory and honor.
