憶爾信主無偽、維昔爾外祖母羅以、爾母友尼基、則有此信、我望爾亦然、

爾我當相顧、黽勉勿怠、行仁為善、有人不集於會所、爾勿效之、當相勸誡、見乃日伊邇、益宜如是、

有人由神得傳智慧、有人由神得傳知識、

聖神之結實、仁與義與誠、

故當黽勉、有信宜有德、有德宜有智、有智宜有節、有節宜有忍、有忍宜有虔、有虔宜有弟、有弟宜有仁、有此而擴充之、則知主耶穌基督道、而自不怠不荒、

雖能先知、探奧、識理、且篤信得以移山、而無仁、則無益、

我言此、望良朋、無若背教者、亦望爾得救、

我思爾固宜若是、爾與我共享恩寵、故心常念爾、縲絏在茲、明辯福音在茲、

故當彼此勸慰、以成厥德、猶爾常行、

我勸兄弟、儆彼無度、勵厥志餒、信未篤者堅之、御眾以寛、

我以書遺爾、知爾必悅從、亦知爾之所行、必倍於我之所言、

賴耶穌基督集義之果、彰上帝之榮譽、
