Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:

Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love,[ being] of one accord, of one mind.[ Let] nothing[ be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek[ them] not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.For we brought nothing into[ this] world,[ and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and[ into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and[ that] there be no divisions among you; but[ that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed[ be ye] poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

We[ are] fools for Christ’s sake, but ye[ are] wise in Christ; we[ are] weak, but ye[ are] strong; ye[ are] honourable, but we[ are] despised.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am,[ therewith] to be content.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Behold, God[ is] mighty, and despiseth not[ any: he is] mighty in strength[ and] wisdom.

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but[ it shall be given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father.And when the ten heard[ it], they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.But Jesus called them[ unto him], and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any[ of them] that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

The desire of a man[ is] his kindness: and a poor man[ is] better than a liar.

He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his friends go far from him? he pursueth[ them with] words,[ yet] they[ are] wanting[ to him].

Whoso mocketh the poor reproacheth his Maker:[ and] he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.

LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul[ is] even as a weaned child.

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? (niv)

By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? (niv)

It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation.All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast— all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. “ If I have denied justice to any of my servants, whether male or female, when they had a grievance against me,what will I do when God confronts me? What will I answer when called to account?Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?“ If I have denied the desires of the poor or let the eyes of the widow grow weary, (niv)
