For it was fitting for him, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Now to the eternal king, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever! Amen.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the honor both now and on that eternal day.

The LORD works everything for its own ends– even the wicked for the day of disaster.

After these things I heard what sounded like the loud voice of a vast throng in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

the twenty- four elders throw themselves to the ground before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns before his throne, saying:“ You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!”

By the LORD’s decree the heavens were made; by a mere word from his mouth all the stars in the sky were created.

nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.From one man he made every nation of the human race to inhabit the entire earth, determining their set times and the fixed limits of the places where they would live,

O LORD, you are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth! You have dominion and exalt yourself as the ruler of all.You are the source of wealth and honor; you rule over all. You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all.

one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.Therefore it says,“ When he ascended on high he captured captives; he gave gifts to men.”Now what is the meaning of“ he ascended,” except that he also descended to the lower regions, namely, the earth?He, the very one who descended, is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

and from Jesus Christ– the faithful witness, the firstborn from among the dead, the ruler over the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has set us free from our sins at the cost of his own bloodand has appointed us as a kingdom, as priests serving his God and Father– to him be the glory and the power for ever and ever! He also said to me,“ It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water free of charge from the spring of the water of life.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a vast throng, like the roar of many waters and like loud crashes of thunder. They were shouting:“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the All- Powerful, reigns!Let us rejoice and exult and give him glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the nations, ascribe to the LORD splendor and strength!Ascribe to the LORD the splendor he deserves! Bring an offering and enter his courts!

“ Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

They were shouting out in a loud voice,“ Salvation belongs to our God, to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Whoever speaks, let it be with God’s words. Whoever serves, do so with the strength that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

He alone possesses immortality and lives in unapproachable light, whom no human has ever seen or is able to see. To him be honor and eternal power! Amen.

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

saying,“ Let the name of God be praised forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to him.He changes times and seasons, deposing some kings and establishing others. He gives wisdom to the wise; he imparts knowledge to those with understanding;he reveals deep and hidden things. He knows what is in the darkness, and light resides with him.O God of my fathers, I acknowledge and glorify you, for you have bestowed wisdom and power on me. Now you have enabled me to understand what I requested from you. For you have enabled me to understand the king’s dilemma.”

Let them give the LORD the honor he deserves; let them praise his deeds in the coastlands.

“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”

But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me. I extolled the Most High, and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever. For his authority is an everlasting authority, and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.

“ How great are his signs! How mighty are his wonders! His kingdom will last forever, and his authority continues from one generation to the next.”
