哦，深奥啊！神的智慧和知识的财富！他的判断是多么地无法探究，他的道是多么地无法测度！

奧哉、上帝何智慧之大乎、其法不可測、其蹤不可追、

深哉富哉天主智慧知識、其法不可測、其道不可尋、其道不可尋或經作其蹤不可追云、

嗚呼、天主之聰明睿知、不亦淵淵其淵乎哉！孰能測其思維、探其跡蹤耶？

How very rich are God’s wisdom and knowledge! How he judges is more than we can understand! The way he deals with people is more than we can know!

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!

Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

How great are your works, Lord, how profound your thoughts!

Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ,in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

“ Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty?They are higher than the heavens above— what can you do? They are deeper than the depths below— what can you know?Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.

The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory—

Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals.

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.

in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.

Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ,

All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?”

Clouds and thick darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

As the heavens are high and the earth is deep, so the hearts of kings are unsearchable.

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains,because they rebelled against God’s commands and despised the plans of the Most High.So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,for he breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron.Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities.They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death.Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.Some went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters.They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep.For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away.They reeled and staggered like drunkards; they were at their wits’ end.Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders.He turned rivers into a desert, flowing springs into thirsty ground,and fruitful land into a salt waste, because of the wickedness of those who lived there.He turned the desert into pools of water and the parched ground into flowing springs;there he brought the hungry to live, and they founded a city where they could settle.They sowed fields and planted vineyards that yielded a fruitful harvest;he blessed them, and their numbers greatly increased, and he did not let their herds diminish.Then their numbers decreased, and they were humbled by oppression, calamity and sorrow;he who pours contempt on nobles made them wander in a trackless waste.But he lifted the needy out of their affliction and increased their families like flocks.The upright see and rejoice, but all the wicked shut their mouths.Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.

may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,

“ Tell us what we should say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.

And these are but the outer fringe of his works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Why do you complain to him that he responds to no one’s words?
