你就不可向那些树枝夸口。你若要夸口，就应当想想：不是你支持着树根，而是树根支持着你。

do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

So don’t think you are better than the other branches. Remember, you don’t give life to the root. The root gives life to you.

But you must not brag about being grafted in to replace the branches that were broken off. You are just a branch, not the root.

不错，他们因为不信而被折下来，你因着信才站立得住。只是不可心高气傲，倒要存畏惧的心。

我还有别的羊，不在这羊圈里；我必须把它们领来，它们也要听我的声音，并且要合成一群，归于一个牧人。

在灭亡以先，必有骄傲；在跌倒以前，心中高傲。

这样，有什么可夸的呢？没有可夸的了。凭什么准则说没有的呢？凭行为吗？不是的，而是以信心为准则说的。

这样看来，你们不再是外人和客旅，而是与圣徒一同作国民，是神家里的人了，并且建造在使徒和先知的根基上，基督耶稣自己就是奠基石，

彼得对他说：“就算所有的人都因你的缘故后退，我却永不后退。”

所以，那自以为站得稳的，应当谨慎，免得跌倒。

所以，成为后嗣是因着信，为的是要按着神的恩典，使给所有后裔的应许坚定不移，不但临到那属于律法的人，也临到那效法亚伯拉罕而信的人。亚伯拉罕在神面前作我们众人的父，

以色列王回答说：“你们去告诉他，佩戴武器的人，不可像解除武器的那样自夸。”

“万军之耶和华这样说：‘将来还有万族的人和多个城市的居民要来。一城的居民到另一城去，对他们说：我们快去恳求耶和华施恩，求告万军之耶和华；我自己也去。必有很多的民族和强大的国家前来，在耶路撒冷求告万军之耶和华，恳求他施恩。’“万军之耶和华这样说：‘在那些日子，必有十个说不同方言，来自列国的人，紧抓住一个犹大人的衣襟，说：让我们与你们同去吧，因为我们听见神与你们同在。’”

耶稣向那些自恃为义、轻视别人的人，讲了这个比喻：“有两个人上圣殿去祈祷，一个是法利赛人，一个是税吏。法利赛人站着，祷告给自己听，这样说：‘神啊，我感谢你，我不像别人，勒索、不义、奸淫，也不像这个税吏。

如果你们属于基督，就是亚伯拉罕的后裔，是按照应许承受产业的了。

你们敬拜你们所不知道的，我们却敬拜我们所知道的，因为救恩是从犹太人出来的。
