If the part of the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches.

The first handful of dough that is offered is holy. This makes all of the dough holy. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

If the dough offered as firstfruits is holy, so is the whole lump, and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

And since Abraham and the other patriarchs were holy, their descendants will also be holy— just as the entire batch of dough is holy because the portion given as an offering is holy. For if the roots of the tree are holy, the branches will be, too.

Now if the firstfruits are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.

If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if the root is holy, the branches are as well.

And if the firstfruit is holy, so is the lump: and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

Now if the firstfruits offered up are holy, so is the whole batch. And if the root is holy, so are the branches.

For if the firstfruit[ be] holy, the lump[ is] also[ holy]: and if the root[ be] holy, so[ are] the branches.

If the first portion of the dough offered is holy, then the whole batch is holy, and if the root is holy, so too are the branches.

If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.

Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase;

The best of all firstfruits of any kind, and every sacrifice of any kind from all your sacrifices, shall be the priest’s; also you shall give to the priest the first of your ground meal, to cause a blessing to rest on your house.

And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and your descendants after you.

Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them:‘ When you come into the land to which I bring you,then it will be, when you eat of the bread of the land, that you shall offer up a heave offering to the Lord.You shall offer up a cake of the first of your ground meal as a heave offering; as a heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you offer it up.Of the first of your ground meal you shall give to the Lord a heave offering throughout your generations.

And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,

Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

and the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field.

Yet I had planted you a noble vine, a seed of highest quality. How then have you turned before Me Into the degenerate plant of an alien vine?

and now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land which you, O Lord, have given me.’“ Then you shall set it before the Lord your God, and worship before the Lord your God.

The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

And we made ordinances to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the Lord;to bring the firstborn of our sons and our cattle, as it is written in the Law, and the firstborn of our herds and our flocks, to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God;to bring the firstfruits of our dough, our offerings, the fruit from all kinds of trees, the new wine and oil, to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God; and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.

“ You shall not delay to offer the first of your ripe produce and your juices. The firstborn of your sons you shall give to Me.

The firstfruits of your grain and your new wine and your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you shall give him.
