惟由信之義如斯云、勿心內曰、孰能升天、言使基督降下、

此乃由天降之糧、俾人食而不死、我乃生命之糧、由天降者、人食此糧則永生、我所賜之糧、即我之肉、我為使世人得生而舍之、

挪亞有信、蒙天主默示未見之事、遂敬畏主、而造方舟以救其家、以此罪世、且得由信之義、

使我得義、非由律法、乃由信基督、即天主因信所賜之義、

蓋我由天降、非為行己意、乃為行遣我者之意、

天主之糧、乃由天降、以生命賜世者也、

蓋天主立耶穌為贖罪之祭、使人由信其血而可得赦、天主以其寛容、免人已往之罪、而彰其義、

子乃天主榮所發之光輝、為天主本體之真像、以其大能之命、主持萬物、既舍己以贖贖原文作淨我罪、遂在上坐於至大者之右、

蓋亞伯拉罕及其後裔、蒙許將為嗣子以嗣世界、非由律法、乃由信之義、

此乃由天降之糧、食此糧者必永生、非若爾祖食瑪拿、後亦死、

即天主因人信耶穌基督所賜之義、賜諸信者、悉無區別、

是則何言、異邦人不尋義而得義、即由信之義、惟以色列人尋稱義之法、而不得其法、
