But the way to do what God requires must begin by having faith in him. Scripture says,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’ ”( Deuteronomy 30:12) That means to go up into heaven and bring Christ down.

But faith’s way of getting right with God says,“ Don’t say in your heart,‘ Who will go up to heaven?’( to bring Christ down to earth).

But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows:“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will go up into heaven?’( that is, to bring Christ down),

But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way,“ Do not say in your heart,‘ Who will ascend into heaven?’”( that is, to bring Christ down from above)

But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven?( that is, to bring Christ down:)

“ This command that I give you today is certainly not too difficult or beyond your reach.It is not in heaven so that you have to ask,‘ Who will go up to heaven, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it?’And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask,‘ Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it?’But the message is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may follow it.

For it says: When he ascended on high, he took the captives captive; he gave gifts to people.But what does“ he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower parts of the earth?The one who descended is also the one who ascended far above all the heavens, to fill all things.

If I have told you about earthly things and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven— the Son of Man.

Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his hands? Who has bound up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son— if you know?

This is the bread that comes down from heaven so that anyone may eat of it and not die.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread he will live forever. The bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.”

By faith Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark to deliver his family. By faith he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith.

and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ— the righteousness from God based on faith.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

For the bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

God presented him as the mercy seat by his blood, through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would inherit the world was not through the law, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

This is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the manna your ancestors ate— and they died. The one who eats this bread will live forever.”

The righteousness of God is through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe, since there is no distinction.

What should we say then? Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained righteousness— namely the righteousness that comes from faith.But Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, has not achieved the righteousness of the law.
