through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,

我儕由彼受恩、及使徒職、使萬邦緣其名因信而服、

吾儕沾其恩、受使徒職、令諸異邦信服、而尊其名、

我儕因彼得恩寵、且受使徒之職、令萬國之人、為其名而信服、

吾人賴以蒙恩、忝列宗徒、期使萬民歸順正道、依崇聖名；

Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake.

We received grace because of what Jesus did. He made us apostles to the Gentiles. We must invite all of them to obey God by trusting in Jesus. We do this to bring glory to him.

Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority as apostles to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.

Through him we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the Gentiles,

through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles in behalf of His name,

Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name,

through whom we received grace and apostleship, unto obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name’s sake;

We have received grace and apostleship through Him to bring about the obedience of faith among all the nations, on behalf of His name,

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Through him we have received grace and our apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles on behalf of his name.

through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for his name’s sake;

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.

And the word of God continued to increase, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.

but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith—

For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts.

to take the place in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place.”

so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.

For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience— by word and deed,by the power of signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God— so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ;

in accordance with the gospel of the glory of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service,

But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder, because of the grace given me by Godto be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

But when he who had set me apart before I was born, and who called me by his grace,was pleased to reveal his Son to me, in order that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone;

assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace that was given to me for you,how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly.When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ,which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power.To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things,

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also,

( for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles),and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God,who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.

Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name.

Cursed be the cheat who has a male in his flock, and vows it, and yet sacrifices to the Lord what is blemished. For I am a great King, says the Lord of hosts, and my name will be feared among the nations.
