以其神性論之、則為天主聖子、威靈顯赫、其自死者中復活、實為明證。

按圣善的灵说，因从死里复活，以大能显明是神的儿子。

By the Holy Spirit, he was appointed to be the mighty Son of God. God did this by raising him from the dead. He is Jesus Christ our Lord.

矧以基督無玷之身、憑聖神而自獻於天主之寶血、不更應滌吾人之良心於一切致死之行、俾得昭事永生之天主乎？

基督亦何獨不然、固未曾自尊自榮、以任大司祭也。乃天主諭之曰：『爾乃吾子、生於今日。』又曰『爾為司祭、永世靡替、與麥基德、同一班次。』

及天主於信徒所施神力之廣大無邊也。蓋此神力、天主實已先施於基督之身、起之於死中、升之於諸天、位之於己右、超軼乎一切爵、權、德、統、諸品天神、及今世來世一切可名之名之上。置天地萬物於其足下、立之為全教會至高無上之元首、而以教會為其身軀。蓋基督涵覆萬有、而教會實為之輔翼也。

蓋彼雖一度憑其柔德、而被釘以死、今則憑天主大能而生矣。吾人茲亦秉其柔德、惟對於爾曹、吾儕亦當憑天主大德、而與基督共生也。

蓋歷來豫言、本非出人私智、乃古人感於聖神、而為天主之舌人耳。

蓋基督神靈、啟迪先知之衷、故彼等能逆知基督之先苦後樂、與夫其事之成於何時何世。

天主為解苦厄、使之復活、死固不足以限之也。

而猶太人質詢之曰：『爾之為此、亦能示我以靈徵否？』耶穌應曰：『爾試摧毀斯殿、予將於三日內重建之。』猶太人曰：『此殿歷四十六載始成、爾乃欲以三日重建耶？』顧耶穌所言之殿、乃指其身。

爾曹殘殺生命之主、而天主則已使之起死回生吾儕實為其證。

基督不當先受苦難、而躋於光榮乎？』於是始自摩西以至歷代先知、凡經中之有關於己者、悉為詳釋。

則爾與義塞民當知納匝勒人耶穌基督、即爾曹所釘於十字架者、天主已賜以復活。此人之所以能獲康復而挺立於爾前者、賴耶穌之名也。耶穌者即「梓人所棄、竟成隅石」者是。舍彼而外、別無救主；普天之下、更無其他名義、可恃以獲救恩。』

聖詠第二首所云：「汝乃吾子、誕於今日。」此之謂也。至其復活之後、不復歸於朽壞、天主亦曾明言曰：「吾將以所許於大維之恩澤加諸爾身。」而另一聖詠又曰：「不容聖者身、沾染朽腐痕。」

耶穌集十二門徒、而告之曰：『爾其識之！吾儕上耶路撒冷、凡先知所紀當臨於人子之事、悉將見驗。渠將被付於外邦人、受垢被辱、受唾被撻、乃至受死、惟第三日復活。』

天主之復活耶穌、吾儕實為見證。

被爾懸木而殉之耶穌、已為吾祖之天主所復活；且以右手舉之、使為君王、使為救主、俾以悔悟之心、救拔之恩、賜於義塞之人、並以聖神錫諸信者、吾儕均可為之作證。』

聖子者、即吾主耶穌基督；以其人性論之、乃出於大維之苗裔；

吾乃俯伏而拜之、彼止之曰：「慎莫為此！我與爾及信奉耶穌妙證之眾兄弟、皆屬同寅；爾當敬拜天主耳。蓋耶穌之妙證、實為一切預言之靈樞。」

蓋其期已定、將藉其所立之人、以正義而衡天下；斯人無他、即天主所起於死中以徵信於眾者是已。』

永生不變；死於一時、而生於永古；掌握死亡及地獄之管籥者。
