The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the shaft of the Abyss.

The fifth angel blew his trumpet. Then I saw a star that had fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to the tunnel leading down into a bottomless pit. The pit was called the Abyss.

And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit.

第三位天使吹響號角，就有一顆像火把一樣燃燒著的大星，從天上墜落，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。

是那永生的。我曾經死過，可是看哪，我現在活著，直到永永遠遠，並且拿著死亡和陰間的鑰匙。

它打開了無底坑口，就有煙從坑口裡往上冒，好像大火爐的煙，甚至太陽和天空因坑口的煙而變為黑暗。

「也不用說：誰要下到無底坑去？」——這意思是將基督從死人中領上來。

那些鬼魔央求耶穌不要命令它們進無底坑去。

你所看見的那獸，先前在而現今不在，並將要從無底坑裡上來，然後走向滅亡。住在地上的人，凡是名字從創世以來沒有被記在生命冊上的，看見那先前在而現今不在，並將要出現的獸時，都會感到驚奇。

你應當知道這一點：在末後的日子裡，將有艱難的時候來到；因為人們將會愛自己、愛錢財，又自誇、又驕傲，褻瀆神、悖逆父母、忘恩負義、毫不聖潔、沒有親情、不肯和解、惡意控告、不能自制、殘忍凶暴、不愛良善、背叛出賣、任意妄為、自以為是，愛享樂過於愛神，有敬神的外表，卻否定敬神的實質；這樣的人你要避開。

接著，我看見一位天使從天上降下來，手裡拿著無底坑的鑰匙和一條大鎖鏈。

有一個王統管牠們，就是那無底坑的使者；他的名字，希伯來語是「阿巴頓」，按希臘語的名字是「阿波倫」。第一個災禍過去了。看哪，這些事以後還有兩個災禍就要來臨。第六位天使吹響號角，我就聽見一個聲音從神面前金祭壇的四隻角傳來，

第四位天使吹響號角，太陽的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致它們的三分之一變黑了；於是白晝的三分之一沒有光，夜晚也是如此。

耶穌對他們說：「我看見撒旦像閃電一樣從天上墜落。

第二個災禍過去了。看哪，第三個災禍快要來臨了。第七位天使吹響號角，天上就有大聲音說：「世上的國度已經屬於我們主和他的基督；他將做王，直到永永遠遠！」

接著，我看見站在神面前的七位天使，被賜予了七支號角。

這時候，拿著七支號角的七位天使就預備要吹響號角。第一位天使吹響號角，就有冰雹和火，混著血被撒在地上；於是大地的三分之一被燒掉，樹木的三分之一被燒掉，所有的青草也都被燒掉了。第二位天使吹響號角，就有一座像被火燃燒著的大山被丟進海裡；於是海的三分之一變成血，

不要讓任何人用任何方法把你們欺騙了；因為那日子來臨以前，必定先有離道反教之事來到，並且那不法之人，就是那滅亡之子也會被顯露出來。他反對一切被稱為神的，或受人敬拜的，他又高抬自己在這一切之上，甚至坐在神的聖所裡宣稱自己是神。我還在你們那裡的時候，一直告訴你們這些事，你們不記得嗎？你們也知道，現在什麼攔阻了他，好使他在所定的時候被顯露出來。其實這不法的奧祕已經在做工，只是要等到那現在攔阻他的不在其中，然後這不法之人要被顯露出來。主耶穌要以自己口中的氣殺掉他，藉著自己來臨的顯現除去他。

然後那迷惑他們的魔鬼被丟進烈火和硫磺的湖裡，就是那獸和那假先知所在的地方；他們將日夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

「明亮的晨星，黎明之子啊，你怎麼會從天墜落呢？你這擊敗列國的，怎麼會被砍倒在地呢？

你所看見的，我右手中的七顆星，和這七座金燈臺的奧祕就是：七顆星是七個教會的使者，七座燈臺是七個教會。
