When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained.

The Lamb broke open the fifth seal. I saw souls under the altar. They were the souls of people who had been killed. They had been killed because of God’s word and their faithful witness.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.

When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of all who had been martyred for the word of God and for being faithful in their testimony.

我又看見一些寶座，有人坐在上面，他們得了審判的權柄。我也看見那些因為替耶穌作見證，並且因為神的道而被斬首的人的靈魂。他們沒有拜過獸或獸像，也沒有在額上或手上受過獸的記號。他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。

人要把你們趕出會堂；並且時候要到，所有要殺害你們的人，以為這樣就是事奉神。

我約翰，就是你們的弟兄，在耶穌裡跟你們一同分享患難、國度和忍耐的，為了神的道和耶穌的見證，曾經在那名叫拔摩的海島上。

接著，又有一位天使從祭壇那裡出來，是有權柄掌管火的；他向那拿著鋒利鐮刀的天使大聲說：“伸出你鋒利的鐮刀來，收取地上葡萄樹纍纍的果子吧！因為葡萄已經熟透了。”

我知道你居住的地方，就是撒但王座所在的地方。當我忠心的見證人安提帕在你們那裡，就是在撒但居住的地方被殺的那些日子，你還持守我的名，沒有否認對我的信仰。

我又聽見祭壇中有聲音說：“是的，主啊！全能的神，你的審判真實、公義！”

弟兄勝過牠，是因著羊羔的血，也因著自己所見證的道，他們雖然至死，也不愛惜自己的性命。所以，眾天和住在其中的，你們都歡樂吧！可是地和海有禍了！因為魔鬼知道自己的時日無多，就大大發怒下到你們那裡去了。”龍見自己被摔在地上，就迫害那生了男孩子的婦人。於是有大鷹的兩個翅膀賜給了那婦人，使她可以飛到曠野，到自己的地方，在那裡得供養一年兩年半年，離開那蛇的面。蛇在婦人後面，從口中吐出水來，好像江河一樣，要把婦人沖去。地卻幫助了那婦人，張開口，把從龍口中吐出來的河水吞了。龍就向婦人發怒，去和她其餘的子孫作戰，就是和那遵守神命令堅持耶穌見證的人作戰。

我就俯伏在天使腳前要拜他。但他對我說：“千萬不可以這樣！我和你，以及你那些為耶穌作見證的弟兄，都是同作僕人的。你應當敬拜神！因為預言的精義，就是耶穌的見證。”

我要賜能力給我那兩個穿著麻衣的見證人，他們要傳道一千二百六十天。”他們就是站在全地之主面前的兩棵橄欖樹和兩個燈臺。如果有人想要傷害他們，就有火從他們口中出來，吞滅他們的仇敵。凡是想要傷害他們的，都必這樣被殺。他們有權柄在他們傳道的日子叫天閉塞不下雨，又有權柄掌管眾水，使水變成血，並且有權柄可以隨時隨意用各樣災難擊打全地。他們作完了見證的時候，那從無底坑上來的獸要跟他們作戰，勝過他們，把他們殺死。

約翰把神的道，和耶穌基督的見證，凡是自己所看見的，都見證出來了。

另外有一位天使來了，拿著金香爐，站在祭壇前。有許多香賜給了他，好與所有聖徒的祈禱一同獻在寶座前的金壇上。

第六位天使吹號，我聽見有一個聲音從神面前金壇的四角發出來，

所以，不要以給我們的主作見證當作羞恥，也不要以我這為主被囚的當作羞恥，卻要為了福音的緣故，靠著神的大能，與我同受磨難。

我已經被澆奠；我離世的時候也到了。

我處於兩難之間，情願離世與基督同在，因為那是好得無比的。

現在還是坦然無懼，寧願與身體分開，與主同住。

然後祭司要用血抹會幕裡耶和華面前的香壇的四角；至於其餘的牛血，都要倒在會幕門口的燔祭壇腳那裡。

即使把我澆奠在你們信心的祭物和供奉上，我也喜樂，並且和你們大家一同喜樂。
