“你们不要以为我来是带给地上和平，我来并不是带来和平，而是刀剑。

该被掳掠的，必被掳掠；该被刀杀的，必被刀杀。在此，圣徒要有耐心和信心。

天上又出现了另一个兆头：有一条大红龙，有七个头十个角；七个头上戴着七个冠冕。

耶和华啊，求你兴起，前去迎敌，把他打倒！求你用你的刀救我的命脱离恶人。

我在圣灵感动下，被天使带到旷野去，我看见一个女人骑在朱红色的兽上；那只兽有七个头十个角，遍体有亵渎的名号。

我又看见那女人喝醉了圣徒的血和为耶稣作见证的人的血。我看见她，非常诧异。

因神所赐给他的大权，各方、各国、各族的人都在他面前恐惧战兢，因他要杀就杀，要人活就活，要升就升，要降就降。

我要使巴比伦王的膀臂有力，把我的刀交在他手中；却要折断法老的膀臂，使他在巴比伦王面前呻吟，如同被杀的人一样。我要使巴比伦王的膀臂强壮，法老的膀臂却要下垂；当我把我的刀交在巴比伦王手中时，他要举刀攻击埃及地，他们就知道我是耶和华。

你，王啊，你是诸王之王。天上的神已将国度、权势、能力、尊荣都赐给你。世人和走兽，并天空的飞鸟，不论居住何处，他都交在你的手中，令你掌管这一切。你就是那金的头。

耶稣回答他：“若不是从上头赐给你的，你就毫无权柄办我，所以，把我交给你的那人罪更重了。”

然而，我让你存活，是为了要使你看见我的大能，并要使我的名传遍全地。可是你仍然向我的百姓自高自大，不放他们走。

祸哉！亚述，我怒气的棍！他们手中的杖是我的恼恨。我要差遣他攻击亵渎的国，吩咐他对付我所恼怒的民，抢走掳物，夺取掠物，将他们践踏，如同街上的泥土一般。

“‘你岂没有听见我早先所定、古时所立、现今实现的事吗？就是让你去毁坏坚固的城镇，使它们变为废墟；城里居民的力量甚小，他们惊惶羞愧；像野草，像青菜，如房顶上的草，被东风刮散。

“人子啊，巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒令他的军兵大力攻打推罗，以致头都光秃，肩都磨破；然而他和军兵虽然为攻打推罗花这么多力气，却没有从那里得到什么犒赏。所以主耶和华如此说：我要将埃及地赐给巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他必掳掠埃及的财富，抢夺它的掳物，掳掠它的掠物，用以犒赏他的军兵。我将埃及地赐给他，犒赏他，因他们为我效劳。这是主耶和华说的。
