Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

不要以为我来了，是给地上带来和平。我来并不是带来和平，而是刀剑，

如果有人注定被掳，他就会被掳去；如果有人注定被刀杀，他就会被刀杀。圣徒们的忍耐和信仰，就在这里。

随后，天上出现了另一个征兆：看哪，一条火红色的巨龙，有七个头和十只角，七个头上戴着七个王冠。

耶和华啊，求你起来，迎面抵挡他们，使他们屈服！求你用你的刀剑，挽救我的性命脱离恶人！

于是我在灵里被天使带到旷野。随后，我看见一个女人骑在一只深红色的兽上，这兽有七个头，十只角，遍体布满了亵渎的名号。

随后，我看见那女人喝醉了圣徒们的血，以及为耶稣做见证之人的血。我看到她就大大惊奇。

因着神所赐给他的权势，所有的民族、国家、语言群体都在他面前战兢恐惧；他想要杀谁就杀谁，想要让谁活就让谁活，想要高举谁就高举谁，想要降卑谁就降卑谁。

王啊，你是王中之王！天上的神把国度、权能、力量和尊荣都赐给了你，也把世人、田野的走兽、天空的飞鸟，无论住在哪里，都交在你的手中，让你统辖这一切；你就是那金的头。

耶稣回答：“如果权柄不是从上面赐给你的，你就对我没有任何权柄。所以，把我交给你的人有更大的罪。”

祸哉！亚述，我怒气的棍！他们手中的杖就是我的愤怒。我要派遣他去攻击一个不敬虔的国家，吩咐他去攻打我所恼怒的子民，掳财掠货，践踏他们，如同践踏街道上的泥土。

我从远古以来所立的，在太初的日子所定的，难道你没有听过吗？现在我使它应验了，就是让你把坚固的城变为荒废的石堆——那时城中的居民软弱无力，惊惶羞愧，像尚未长大就枯干的田间蔬草、青绿嫩草、屋顶上的草。
