And so will all the people on earth. The mountains will come crashing down. The cliffs will break into pieces. Every wall will fall to the ground.

I looked at the earth. It didn’t have any shape. And it was empty. I looked at the sky. Its light was gone.I looked at the mountains. They were shaking. All the hills were swaying.I looked. I saw“ a new heaven and a new earth.”( Isaiah 65:17) The first heaven and the first earth were completely gone. There was no longer any sea.

When he stood up, the earth shook. When he looked at the nations, they trembled with fear. The age- old mountains crumbled. The ancient hills fell down. But he marches on forever.

The gods we worship on the hills and mountains are useless. You are the Lord our God. You are the only one who can save us.

He has set it apart for all the towering mountains. He has set it apart for all the high hills.He has set it apart for every high tower and every strong wall.He has set it apart for every trading ship and every beautiful boat.Anyone who brags will be brought low. Anyone who is proud will be made humble. The Lord alone will be honored at that time.
