我觀看，看哪，有一隻手向我伸來；看哪，手中有一書卷。他在我面前展開書卷，它內外都寫着字，上面所寫的有哀號、嘆息、悲痛的話。

所有的默示，在你們看來都如封住的書卷，人將這書卷交給識字的人，說：「請念吧！」他說：「我不能念，因為它封住了。」

這羔羊前來，從坐在寶座上那位的右手中拿了書卷。

他手裏拿着展開的小書卷。他右腳踏海，左腳踏地，

我又聽見在天上、地上、地底下、滄海裏和天地間一切所有被造之物，都說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀、權勢，都歸給坐在寶座上的那位和羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」

我看見羔羊揭開七個印中第一個印的時候，聽見四活物中的一個活物，聲音如雷，說：「你來！」

但以理啊，你要隱藏這話，封閉這書，直到末時。必有許多人往來奔跑，知識就必增長。」我－但以理觀看，看哪，另有兩個人站立：一個在河這邊，一個在河那邊。其中一個對那在河水之上、穿細麻衣的說：「這奇異的事要到幾時才應驗呢？」我聽見那在河水之上、穿細麻衣的，向天舉起左右手，指着那活到永遠的起誓說：「要到一年、兩年，又半年，粉碎聖民力量結束的時候，這一切的事就要應驗。」我聽了卻不明白，就說：「我主啊，這些事的結局是怎樣呢？」他說：「但以理，去吧！因為這話已經隱藏封閉，直到末時。

那坐着的，看來好像碧玉和紅寶石；又有彩虹圍着寶座，光彩好像綠寶石。

我先前從天上所聽見的那聲音又吩咐我說：「你去，把那踏海踏地之天使手中展開的小書卷拿過來。」我就走到天使那裏，對他說，請他把小書卷給我。他對我說：「你拿去，把它吃光。它會使你肚子發苦，然而在你口中會甘甜如蜜。」於是我從天使手中把小書卷接過來，把它吃光了，在我口中果然甘甜如蜜，吃了以後，我肚子覺得發苦。天使們對我說：「你必須指着許多民族、邦國、語言、君王再說預言。」

你要捲起律法書，在我門徒中間封住教誨。

所說二千三百日的異象是真的，但你要將這異象封住，因為它關乎未來許多的日子。」

你們要查考並誦讀耶和華的書；這些現象必然存在，沒有一樣動物缺少伴侶。因為是他，藉着我的口吩咐，他的靈將牠們聚集。
