接着，我看见坐在宝座上的那一位右手中拿着一个书卷，内外都写着字，用七个封印封住。

接著，我看見坐在寶座上的那一位右手中拿著一個書卷，內外都寫著字，用七個封印封住。

我見居於座者、右手擎卷、內外書文、緘以七印、

我觀坐位者、右執册、內外有文字、緘以七印、

我見坐寶座者、右手執卷、內外有文字、緘以七印、

又見位於寶座者、右手執一卷、內外俱有文字七印緘焉。

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.

Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one sitting on the throne. The scroll had writing on both sides. It was sealed with seven seals.

整个异象对你们就如封住的书卷里的话。如果把这书卷交给识字的人，说：“请你读一读”，他必说：“我不能，因为它是封住的”；

羔羊上前去，从坐在宝座上那一位的右手中拿了书卷。

手里拿着一个打开的小书卷。他右脚踩在海上，左脚踩在地上，

我又听见天上、地上、地底下和海中的一切被造之物，以及天地间的万有，都在说：“愿颂赞、尊贵、荣耀和权能，都归于坐在宝座上的那一位，都归于羔羊，直到永永远远！”

我又观看，羔羊打开七个封印中第一个封印的时候，我就听见四个活物中的一个，用像雷鸣一样的声音说：“来！”

但以理啊！你当隐藏这些话语，封住这书卷，直到末后的时期；必有许多人往来奔走，知识也必增多。”那时，我但以理正在观看，看哪，另有两位站着，一位在河岸这边，一位在河岸那边！其中一位对那身穿细麻衣、在河水之上的人说：“这些奇妙之事的结局要到什么时候呢？”我听见那身穿细麻衣、在河水之上的人说话；他向天举起左右手，指着永远活着的那一位起誓说：“要经过一期、二期、半期，当圣洁子民的力量被打碎时，这一切事就会成就。”我听见却不领悟，就说：“我主啊，这些事的结局会是怎样呢？”他说：“但以理啊，你只管去吧！因为这些话语已经被隐藏、被封住了，直到末后的时期。

坐着的那一位，看起来仿佛碧玉和红宝石；又有一道彩虹围着宝座，看起来仿佛绿宝石。

接着，我所听见的那从天上来的声音又对我讲话，说：“你去，从那站在海上和地上的天使手中，把那打开的书卷拿过来。”我就走到那位天使面前，请他把小书卷给我。他就对我说：“拿去，把它吃掉！它会使你的肚子感到苦涩，但是在你口中会像蜜一样甘甜。”我从天使的手中拿了小书卷，把它吃了；果然在我口中像蜜一样甘甜，可是吃了以后，我的肚子就感到苦涩。然后他们对我说：“你必须指着许多民族、国家、语言群体和君王再说预言。”

你要收起诫命，在我的门徒中封住训诲。

至于所提到的有关两千三百个晚上和早晨的异象是真实的，但你要封住这异象，因为这是关于将来许多的日子。”

你们要查考和阅读耶和华的书卷：这些动物无一缺失，无一没有伴偶，因为耶和华的口已经吩咐了，他的灵招聚了它们。
