猶大若稚獅、見物則斷傷之、悠然而去、吾子如牡獅、伏視眈眈、亦猶牝獅、孰敢攖之。

兄弟乎、論智勿效赤子、論惡可效赤子、論智當效成人、

其民如牡獅、伏視耽耽、亦猶牝獅、孰敢攖之、祝爾者必見祝、詛爾者必見詛。○

斯民之興也如牝獅、其動也如牡獅、不食斷傷之肉、不飲被殺之血、則不偃卧。○

惟恃耶和華者補其精力、翱翔若鷹、疾趨弗倦、力行弗困。

以色列族必遠會幕之四周、隨其纛、附宗族之旆、各列其營、東方日出之所、凡從猶大之纛者、各列其營、亞米拿達子拿順為猶大牧伯、能臨陳者、計七萬四千六百。以薩迦支派從其右、蘇押子拿但業為牧伯、能臨陳者、計五萬四千四百。西布倫支派從其左、希倫子以利押為牧伯、能臨陳者、計五萬七千四百。凡從猶大營、能臨陳者、計十八萬六千四百、遄征前往、○南方有流便之纛、及其軍旅、示丟耳子以利蓿為流便牧伯、能臨陳者、計四萬六千五百。西面支派從右列營、蘇哩沙太子示路滅為牧伯、能臨陳者、計五萬九千三百。伽得支派從其左、流耳子以利亞薩為牧伯、能臨陳者、計四萬五千六百五十。凡從流便營、能臨陳者、計十五萬一千四百五十、遄征次往。○遄征時、利未族、與會幕、居於營之中、視列營法、以為遄征、各隨其纛。○西方有以法蓮之纛、及其軍旅、亞米忽子以利沙馬為以法蓮牧伯、能臨陳者、計四萬有五百。馬拿西支派從其右、比大蓿子迦馬列為牧伯、能臨陳者、計三萬二千二百。便雅憫支派從其左、其田尼子亞庇但為牧伯。能臨陳者、計三萬五千四百。凡從以法蓮營、能臨陳者、計十萬八千一百、遄征次往。○北方有但之纛、及其軍旅、亞米沙太子亞劦斯為但之牧伯、能臨陳者、計六萬二千七百。亞設支派從其右、惡蘭子帕結為牧伯、能臨陳者、計四萬一千五百。納大利支派從其左、以南子亞希喇為牧伯、能臨陳者、計五萬三千四百。凡從但之營、能臨陳者、計十五萬七千六百、遄征其後。○以色列族、循其宗族、核其營壘軍旅、總計六十萬三千五百五十、利未族不列其數、遵耶和華諭摩西之命。以色列族、遄征各依其族、列營各循其纛、遵耶和華諭摩西之命。

摩西律載云、輾穀之牛、勿籠其口、上帝意豈在牛乎、此非為我言乎、固為我言也、使耕者望穡而耕、打稻者共得所望焉、

國亂則主迭更、民良則邦永治。

掃羅及約拿單、生存之日、相愛相悅、雖至死亡、亦弗離逖。彼二人者疾於鷹、猛於獅。
