随后，我看见在宝座和四个活物当中，在长老们当中，站着一只羔羊，好像是被杀过的。羔羊有七只角和七只眼，那七只眼就是神的七个灵，是奉差派往全地去的。

二十四位长老和四个活物就俯伏敬拜那坐在宝座上的神，说：“阿们！哈利路亚！”

他们在宝座前，并四个活物和长老们面前唱歌，像是新歌，这首歌除了从地上被赎回来的那十四万四千人以外，没有人能学会。

那四个活物，各个都有六个翅膀，遍体内外都布满了眼睛。他们日夜不停地说：“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！主、神、全能者，昔在、今在、将要来临的那一位！”每当四个活物把荣耀、尊贵和感谢归给坐在宝座上、活到永永远远的那一位时，

四个活物就说：“阿们！”长老们也都俯伏敬拜。我又观看，羔羊打开七个封印中第一个封印的时候，我就听见四个活物中的一个，用像雷鸣一样的声音说：“来！”

所有的天使都站在宝座、长老们和四个活物的周围；他们在宝座前，把脸伏在地上，敬拜神，

接着，天使给我看一条生命水的河，明亮如水晶，从神和羔羊的宝座流出来，

这城有神的荣耀，她的光辉仿佛极贵重的宝石，如同碧玉，清澈如水晶。

因为在宝座中的羔羊将牧养他们，领他们到生命水的泉源；神要从他们的眼中抹去一切泪水。”

四个活物中有一个把七个金碗交给了那七位天使，碗里盛满了活到永永远远之神的愤怒。

十二个城门是十二颗珍珠；每一个门各自是由一颗珍珠造成的。城里的大街是纯金的，好像透明的玻璃。

她的城墙是用碧玉建造的；城是纯金的，仿佛纯净的玻璃。
