天使又拿着香炉，盛满祭坛的火，将它倒在地上，于是有雷鸣、巨响、闪电和地震。

我约翰写信给你们亚细亚的七间教会。愿昔在、今在、以后永在的上帝，祂宝座前的七灵和耶稣基督赐给你们恩典和平安。耶稣基督是忠心的见证人，是首先从死里复活的，是世上君王的首领。祂爱我们，用自己的血救我们脱离罪恶，

到了第三天早晨，山上雷电大作，乌云密布，又有嘹亮的号角声，营中的百姓都胆战心惊。

那时，天上上帝的圣殿敞开了，殿内的约柜清晰可见，又有闪电、巨响、雷鸣、地震和大冰雹。

第七位天使将碗倒在空中时，从殿里的宝座上传出响亮的声音说：“成了！”随后雷电交加，伴随着巨响，还有空前剧烈的大地震。

他问我：“你看见了什么？”我说：“我看见一个纯金的灯台，上面有一个油碗，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏灯有七个灯芯。

“你要写信告诉撒狄教会的天使，有上帝的七灵又有七颗星的主说，‘我知道你的行为，你名义上活着，实际上是死的。

耶和华从锡安发出怒吼，从耶路撒冷发出雷声，天地为之震动。但耶和华却是祂子民的避难所，是以色列人的堡垒。

我又看到宝座、四个活物和众长老之间站着一只好像是被宰杀过的羔羊。祂身上的七只角和七只眼睛代表奉差遣到普天下去的上帝的七灵。

那时雷电交加，号角嘹亮，山上冒烟，百姓看见此情景，都吓得浑身颤抖，不敢挨近。

他又用纯金为这座灯台造了七个灯盏，以及灯剪和灯花盘。

你们并非来到那座摸得到、有火焰、乌云、黑暗、狂风、号角声和说话声的西奈山，听见这些声音的人都哀求不要再向他们说话了。因为他们承担不了所领受的命令：“即便是动物靠近这山，也要用石头打死它！”那情景实在可怕，就连摩西也说：“我吓得发抖。”但你们现在来到了锡安山，永活上帝的城邑，天上的耶路撒冷，欢聚着千万天使的地方。这里有名字记录在天上的众长子的教会，有审判众人的上帝和已达到纯全的义人的灵魂，还有新约的中保耶稣和祂所流的血。这血比亚伯的血发出更美的信息。你们必须谨慎，切勿拒绝对你们说话的上帝。因为以色列人违背了在地上警戒他们的人，尚且逃脱不了惩罚，何况我们违背从天上警戒我们的上帝呢？那时上帝的声音震动了大地，但现在祂应许说：“再一次，我不单要震动地，还要震动天。”“再一次”这句话是指上帝要挪去可以被震动的受造之物，使不能被震动的可以长存。那么，既然我们承受的是一个不能被震动的国度，就要感恩，用虔诚和敬畏的心事奉上帝，讨祂喜悦。因为我们的上帝是烈火。

上帝啊，你在圣所中令人敬畏。以色列的上帝把力量和权能赐给祂的子民。上帝当受称颂！

四个活物的形象如燃烧的火炭，又像火把。活物之间有火上下移动，发出耀眼的闪电。

按规定放在内殿前的纯金的灯台和灯盏，

耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出的声音响彻在冰雹和火炭中。祂射出利箭驱散仇敌，发出闪电击溃他们。

又有火焰般的舌头显现出来，分别落在各人的头上。

我用水为你们施洗，叫你们悔改。但在我之后，有位比我更有能力的要来，我连替祂提鞋都不配。祂要用圣灵和火为你们施洗。

我又问天使：“灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？”然后我又问道：“流出橄榄油的两个金管旁边的两根橄榄枝是什么意思？”他说：“你不知道吗？”我说：“主啊，我不知道。”他说：“这是侍立在天下之主旁边的两位受膏者。”

耶和华又对他说：“我是耶和华，我带你离开了迦勒底的吾珥，为要把这片土地赐给你。”

恩赐各有不同，但圣灵是同一位。事奉各有不同，但主是同一位。工作各有不同，但上帝是同一位，祂在众人当中成就万事。圣灵给各人不同的恩赐为要使众人得益处。这人从圣灵领受智言，那人从圣灵领受知识；圣灵赐这人信心，赐那人医病的恩赐；圣灵使这人能行神迹，使那人能做先知讲道；使这人能辨别诸灵，使那人能说方言，又使另一人能翻译方言。这一切都是同一位圣灵所赐的，是祂按自己的旨意分别赐给各人的。
