God himself will be with them.He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

“ That is why they stand in front of God’s throne and serve him day and night in his Temple. And he who sits on the throne will give them shelter.They will never again be hungry or thirsty; they will never be scorched by the heat of the sun.For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of life giving water. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.

When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

And Jerusalem will be filled, safe at last, never again to be cursed and destroyed.

I will make my home among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Because I am righteous, I will see you. When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.

Let all the people of Jerusalem shout his praise with joy! For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among you.”

I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light.

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.

I was afraid because I was naked.”“ Who told you that you were naked?” the Lord God asked.“ Have you eaten from the tree whose fruit I commanded you not to eat?”The man replied,“ It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.”Then the Lord God asked the woman,“ What have you done?”“ The serpent deceived me,” she replied.“ That’s why I ate it.”
