Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can have access to the tree of life and can enter into the city by the gates.

The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow from the soil, every tree that was pleasing to look at and good for food.( Now the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil were in the middle of the orchard.)

He said to me,“ These waters go out toward the eastern region and flow down into the Arabah; when they enter the Dead Sea, where the sea is stagnant, the waters become fresh.Every living creature which swarms where the river flows will live; there will be many fish, for these waters flow there. It will become fresh and everything will live where the river flows.Fishermen will stand beside it; from Engedi to En-eglaim they will spread nets. They will catch many kinds of fish, like the fish of the Great Sea.But its swamps and its marshes will not become fresh; they will remain salty.On both sides of the river’s banks, every kind of tree will grow for food. Their leaves will not wither nor will their fruit fail, but they will bear fruit every month, because their water source flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.”

And the LORD God said,“ Now that the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil, he must not be allowed to stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”So the LORD God expelled him from the orchard in Eden to cultivate the ground from which he had been taken.When he drove the man out, he placed on the eastern side of the orchard in Eden angelic sentries who used the flame of a whirling sword to guard the way to the tree of life.

Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple. I noticed that water was flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east( for the temple faced east). The water was flowing down from under the right side of the temple, from south of the altar.

She is like a tree of life to those who obtain her, and everyone who grasps hold of her will be blessed.

And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.

The nations will walk by its light and the kings of the earth will bring their grandeur into it.

And the twelve gates are twelve pearls– each one of the gates is made from just one pearl! The main street of the city is pure gold, like transparent glass.

But for you who respect my name, the sun of vindication will rise with healing wings, and you will skip about like calves released from the stall.

I have seen their behavior, but I will heal them and give them rest, and I will once again console those who mourn.I am the one who gives them reason to celebrate. Complete prosperity is available both to those who are far away and those who are nearby,” says the LORD,“ and I will heal them.

He heals the brokenhearted, and bandages their wounds.

“ I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger will turn away from them.

“ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and the regaining of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed,

Make the hearts of these people calloused; make their ears deaf and their eyes blind! Otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, their hearts might understand and they might repent and be healed.”

LORD, grant me relief from my suffering so that I may have some relief. Rescue me from those who persecute me so that I may be rescued.
